Hi Ioatoo...St Patricks Day is celebration for Irish heritage, culture and the patron saint of Ireland, St Patrick. It is day of parades, eating traditional Irish food such as corned beef & cooked cabbage, drinking some alcohol of your choice (possibly tinted green) listening and playing the traditional music and dancing the Irish Jig. For this day, many of us are Irish (even if we have no Irish heritage)...it is simply a tribute to the country & the patron saint. AND we try to wear green, color taken from the Irish shamrock. Those who are found without green on their person....well, there is a little penalty they pay...whoever sees them without green, may give them a pinch... in an appropriate area of their body!( No elaboration on that statement! I know, disappointing but no time, got to go and have my green beer with Candykid.) Here's a toast given for St Patricks Day: "May the roof above us never fall in and may we friends beneath it never fall out."
Christian...Amongst your other talents, you must read minds as I was just seeking the green food coloring for non other than a beer! Wow...and yes, it counts!
Hope all are having a special day for celebrating the Irish kind of way...good food, good drink and good music! Thanks everyone for your comments and stopping by for toast to St Patrick ..be safe if driving .

I did not know her but she wrote "Man must be able to evaluate small things in life to be happy"....when writing this she stated that she was happy at that time. So may she rest in peace ...she traveled a long road but sounds like she found some happiness along the way.
Holi...thanks for sharing about the festival...I looked it up and it is also celebrated worldwide altho not on such a scale as in your country. It is good to try to show love and heal things that may have been wrong in our lives. Very colorful festival....hoping you enjoy!
Ken.. Yes, the Vulcan way was deeply intelligent & rational with emotional undercurrent...cloning of Spock in the real world would have made me happy...
GJ... .I saw that StarTrek episode about Spock.. then the writers needed to make all of his fans happy..... and so he was miraculously brought back to rejoin crew and to take up his role on the Enterprise! What would the series have been without Spock? Well, glad we never found out!
. ... Now, Spock has taken the final..."Beam me up" .Salut to you,Leonard Nimoy, from those who shared your world of Star Trek!
GJ... Love it!!! Living thru winter can bring you to brink of ...SOMETHING!!!!! Alot of this sounds familiar especially the snowplow...I'm with you about the driver...has to be plotting his timing!! Think spring and continue those lovely little white pills!!!! Avias
Ed... Loved reading this! Shows the love and connection that develop when we care and give our time. You are a special Doood Grampcamp.....enjoy life with your Coreman!
Smiler...If it is what I think it is...name is Night-Blooming Cereus...blooms at nite and by dawn bloom is wilting...usually fragrant and white color bloom. Sound right? Some species do bloom only once a year...you are lucky guy to find it staring at your camera! Very cool!
Smiler...u have a great talent with your camera....lovely photos and subject matter! I think I know the yellow flowers in photo you are asking what they are....resemble a type of sedum that blooms in the yellow very star-like blooms. It is a plant fond of dry, hot environments and that window box appears to be good place for it! Hope you will continue to share with us!
Amazing isn't it? Nature has this simplicity that pleases the eye and tells of its purpose.....we may try to capture that but it is created by one who has found the ultimate formula!
Wow....super good pics! Thanks for sharing from your part of the world! This big blue ball is just loaded with beauty...all we have to do is open our eyes and look....like you did!
FJ...Really neat poem/song combo....and I know that song too...happy,happy words for happy, maybe little sappy time of year...Spring! Thanks for bringing fun to my day!!!
m50...So much more to the animals than we know. We think of them as below the human yet they can show and teach us many positive things....just watch and learn!
