Possibly because the meaning of words is often meant/spoken one way and interpreted another way by the one who hears them?

Hey Studie: Over and over...round and round it goes.......Trump can't do anything right or he is destroying the country!

Guess all was totally well with the previous POTUS???

Sure wish people could give it a rest and simply let the grousing go......but then again if you feel so strongly that our President is unfit....its still a free country and you can travel anywhere....just take off to someplace that suits your ideas! And good luck with that......things here are not perfect but sure alot better than many others! I'm gonna hang around to give our Prez a chance and see what happens!

RE: What a Game, New England Patriots, What a Game.

Yes....real thriller of a game! Had very small wager on it....choosing the Patriots after having lived in Boston! Who would have thought that they could pull it off but they did with the fantastic Tom Brady's help! I'm not a big sports fan but it was certainly a game to see ....should teach the lesson "Never give up" to all who lost hope when that score widened as it did! REALLY glad I watched!

LJ....You are indeed a "warrior for peace and truth"...not always recognized! Hope you never get discouraged even tho the going gets tough.....the cause is worth the effort! To me, with this last election, this country has been given a great gift ....but what we do with it remains to be seen. We all have many choices in life....recognizing the right way to use them, that's often what gets us into trouble!

Each of us has....... a Magic Bank Account....don't waste it!

ALLRIGHT... .Maybe now people who wish for ceasefire on Donald Trump bashing can see it coming ...it's time to look at what we can do as a country to support him as he tries to undo some of the craziness that has been a part of the past administration! As for the "hanger-ons" who would like to scream their protests ...go get a life outside of this country if you don't like it and spare the rest of us the noise pollution! We have a new President elect and it is time to see what he can do!

A wonderful story that managed to capture the wonder and love that only those small souls we call "pets" can bring into our lives. I truly associated with your attachment to the fish, DB and the others whose time in this world have enriched your life...the fish with its daily ritual showed you the amazing determination for life that it carried within itself,,,,and how introspective it was of you to recognize and appreciate the ritual that you observed it doing....its presence affected your life maybe without you knowing it at the time....yet when it is now gone, you
are blessed with the knowledge of what an experience you had in being able to observe such a connection as DB and the fish shared! You have truly seen a small piece of the miracle of Creation with this bond between all living things! I hope you will continue in future years with such experiences....thanks for sharing!:

Sem...And if a re-structuring is necessary.....then it must start within each family unit and be supported by society....somehow it should grow until it is the accepted way and to be otherwise would be unthinkable! At this point, it is just a product of idealistic thinking.....but who knows, if things get bad enough maybe society will be forced to adopt new standards if we are to survive....as it seems that action is taken often AFTER things reach a critical point that affects everyone!

Stu. I believe the people in this country have the right to bear firearms.....guns do not kill by themselves, someone must pull the trigger! So removing guns from the hands of people will just change the method for killing...if someone for whatever reason wants to kill another, they will find some sort of weapon to do it!
The situation is complex but fact remains, society has changed and is producing those who are mentally bound to destroy others.It is a time when we all must work together to produce a mindset for tolerance, kindness, understanding and concern for others well-being....without these things.....we are going to continue to see the current sickness spread!

Hey Larry...You have a valid point about how the Natl Anthem was being sung....I also heard that singer and her version....I commented to someone else about how the singer was butchering the song! Well, your blog has taken a "twist" away from the original subject as often happens....just wanted to say here that I agree with the idea that the Natl Anthem sounds best to most of us when we can recognize it! Why should a performer present such a version that it is almost unrecognizable? Maybe for the "shock effect"....showing the public that she is "different" and "unique"? Okay, so now she did get our attention and we know she is "unique"....but in reality what she accomplished is to show the absurdity of her version of the Natl Anthem.....only resulting in our dreading her appearance on any future presentations that would involve her singing!
