Innocentia, if you ever like to talk horses and tranquil evenings, you will have to message me, because you have Central America blocked, and that's where I live.... And I love your thought to put my words in a little book.......it sounds so romantic.
Hi Molly, It is never totally silent. There is always the breeze rustling through the trees and various animals and insects making their presence known....and of course the steady hum of my fan....
Good morning Redex. Actually you are wrong. I have always loved silence. As a child I would go 15 and 20 miles into the wilderness alone with my dog just to escape the city and the noise.....but that's me.
I've been to all of those places that you're talking about, and several more.
It's not what happens to you that's important, it's how you react to it.
And brother, you're so right. If you're not careful, it can all make you bitter, angry, resentful and unable to trust anybody. A hell of a place to be.
Be strong, gather wisdom and don't let the same thing happen to you twice.
Better yet; take those experiences and help others to avoid the problems or help them recover if it's too late to prevent.
Life is what WE make it, unless we allow others to hijack our life.
Well, my goodness. I see that whilst I was asleep some bloggers have made there presence known. But you've all come without rights. I don't see a single one. I suppose that the only right that remains is the right to hope. They can't take that one.
Yes, lindsyjones, the time has come to be afraid. We seem to have pretty much lost control of the world situation and are not even able anymore to count the different players in the game. It will not take much of an excuse now to push this set of events into a major conflict. The truth is, I am very surprised that this hasn't blown up already.
Just a matter of taking some people with a grain of salt and not letting others under your skin. Sit back, watch and laugh. And of course some are quite worth while.
Hey, I'd love to banter back and forth, to and fro, but I can't message you because I'm in Mexico. If you care to compare notes and kibitz, you'll have to write to me first. Adios
A 'friend' of mine and I came to the conclusion that friendship is merely a license to take advantage of each other. What do you think? I think it kind of fits.
Yes, I find that it is hard to stay positive sometimes. Actually it is becoming more difficult to stay positive because of all of the problems in the world. It is also more difficult because the internet delivers all of this negativity at the speed of light. It seems we suffer one disaster after another these days. And when we must endure this alone, it becomes even more difficult. So, smell the air. Enjoy the breeze. Laugh and love. Watch a child play. It's all good.
Very nice to hear from you Shaken. Somehow I don't feel quite so alone now. I should have known better than to try being serious here on CS. It's just that it gets a little tired living down here in Mexico speaking Spanish all day.....
RE: The More I Learn About People
The more that I learn about people, the more I enjoy the company of my dog.
