Yes, the Spanish are very friendly…haha. Almost everyone uses ‘tu’ and ‘vosotros’. This not just friends..shops, etc also. Maybe it is different in very formal situations…
In Spain the term usted is hardly used, unlike South American spanish, so usually here it would nealry always be tu serias…….see, now I am teaching you Miss!
I agree with you Shelora, What’s the point of wearing a mask when you are posting a profile pic on a dating site. It is obvious that prople want to see your face…and not just to assess beauty. Anyone can find a safe place to take a profile pic with no mask. For those that dont want to show their face on their profile, that is their choice, so then just don’t show a pic. But a face with a mask on has no logic for me.

I am due to travel to Hong Kong next year ( depending on the virus and political situation) and my colleagues in HK suggested I should visit Macau. But I am not a gambler..haha

Mr Fargofan, well all languages evolve and change over time, which of course you know. So which particular era of English are you referring to? But I am afraid that the English language is currently going through rapid and fundamental changes putting it on a very downward spiral indeed. That is what language evolution usually is - grammatical or wrong word mistakes that eventually become the norm. The worst one around at the moment has to be the totally butchered form of the past conditionals, where the word ‘of’ has replaced the verb ‘have’. Eg: I should of come earlier, we could of met you yesterday...ahhhhhh..it makes me cringe, but we see it so often, including here on cs blogs.
