ie. You'd never take out a notebook mid conversation with someone and start reading/writing in it, because clearly that would be very rude, but we do that with our phones all the time.
Coincidentally I also knew a guy who won the lotto. I actually replaced him working in a hotel when I was in college. He won a cool quarter mill, but kept his job. One week he was eating beans on toast. The next he was buying a brand new house. Life's a trip.
Many CS folks, particularly those of us who read the Forums, are just here for a little wittering and banter on the blogs, rather than romance. Indeed it says so on most of our profiles.
I've consulted the DSM-5 but I'm aFreud I can't help as I have all of these, and all of the others. Or maybe I just can't resist lying spreadeagled on couches.

Maybe you could even postpone mission-hot-waitress for a while even. The main thing will be to secure some more independence for yourself, no matter what happens, then you can talk to that girl and a million others if ya like after securing your new living arrangements, but you wouldn't be taking on too much at once.
