RE: The end of the tale

or just the last one.

RE: The end of the tale

You might as well get rid of him, if you can, so you can sleep better.

Light a candle, read a Robert Burns poem reverently then fling him in the hedge.

RE: Cuddles

That's the spirit Track.
Try and sell what we can't give away for free.

RE: The Ongoing Tale of the Tail

Wow your cat is amazingly non predatory.
I read that feral and house cats kill up to a billion rodents and birds per year.
Not your guy though.

* laying around eating lasagna and watching Garfield.

RE: Cuddles

Well good.
If i remember rightly I was very complimentary on said blog re: the pertness of your wits , so you're welcome.

RE: Cuddles

Welcome back GT. Missed ya handshake

I have to resist the urge to cuddle my Chinese neighbour's kid to death. She's 5ish and IMPOSSIBLY cute.
I can see how rent-a-hug could be a business.

Also, full disclosure: I may have referred to you as 'pert' on one of Map's blogs recently, but it came from a place of admiration . angel uh oh

RE: Blog Commandments

OlbBlue / Daniela :

Yes you're right.
Rob left to pursue his lady love, not cos he was sick of the blogs.
Yet again, I stand corrected:

RE: Aesthetics

Throughout my idiotic 20's I was blind to anything other than physical beauty, which lead to some involvements with women who, despite being total smoke shows , were kinda vapid. (though def no more than I was myself).

Looking back on it I met the potential love of my life when I was 19.
She was and is sweet, caring, principled and exceptionally funny, but she had some burns due to a childhood accident, which I couldn't look past, because I'm unevolved.
Happily she ended up with a great guy who deserves her, and she has two lil kiddies now.

I hope I get a second chance someday, but I still have more growing to do .hole

RE: Last Christmas

Actually it's (not)-a-billionaire but who's counting.

RE: Last Christmas

So the Christmas songs are starting already mumbling

RE: Where Will YOU Be In 2017?

All the cowboy builders will have work again.

A walled Island would actually be pretty cool.
Like Game of Thrones.

RE: Where Will YOU Be In 2017?

Chicks love mine too.

RE: Where Will YOU Be In 2017?

Ha noice laugh laugh

Good of you to give them a lift to the bingo.

RE: Where Will YOU Be In 2017?

Thanks Map sounds cutting edge.

*Fires up the Atari 800 to download it. (over several weeks).

RE: Where Will YOU Be In 2017?

I hope to finally pull the trigger on the new year's resolutions I planned circa 2003.

(It's high time I got on MySpace).

RE: Was the holocaust such a bad thing ?

I say again , Why is it the many unnamed millions who died in the Soviet labour camps on trumped up charges, were never acknowledged or commemorated in any way by Russian authorities.
Seminal book on the subject is 'the Gulag Archipelago'.
The grim reality is that the wider world doesn't intervene if you only commit atrocities against your own people.

Bah.

RE: Drafting Old Men Into The Military

Cool article.

Actually sending women is not a bad idea.

Isis have been running scared from bands of female Kurds, as the jihadists believe it a great dishonour to be killed by a woman, and more importantly they can't enter heaven if they die by a woman's hand.

RE: On a scale of 1 to 10 how needy are you?

Aww shucks thanks for noticing,

You have a rather sophisticated wit yourself - Like the PJ Wodehouse of CS. handshake

Anyway I will log on more.
Bye for now.

RE: On a scale of 1 to 10 how needy are you?

Thanks Eleg ,

Yep I went a bit - league of shadows - for a while.
Will say howdy more often. tip hat

RE: Not mocking. Just saying. Oh, and this isn't politics (YAY)

That was fab.
Shame on me I'd never even heard of him.

I can see why he wouldn't have made it in stuffy old Ireland in the 80s.
Waaaaayyyy ahead of his time.

Whoa I also noticed he's missing an index finger.
(Just the tip, but the tips important. Ask anyone who was on the Titanic

RE: Tables, Unsung Heros

Don't worry, poor unappreciated chairs.

If you fall, I'll be there for you.

Cordially,
Floor.

RE: All Americans

Good luck America (and Earth).

RE: Trump wins

Thanks for responding to my question Miclee.
You have a big ole brain under that hat tip hat

I'm so glad I don't have to vote as I don't like Trump or Clinton (neither Clinton for that matter).
Though I'd certainly trust Hillary more with the nuclear launch codes.

This talk by kinda conservative Andrew Sullivan and quasi liberal Sam Harris made sense to me, if anyone interested.
A longy but a goody:

Anyway good luck 'Mureka.

RE: Trump wins

Can I ask a question to all you politicos out there, speaking as a non US citizen.
Why is a vote for a third party candidate, rather than Trump or Hillary, regarded as a waste of a vote?
Why are folks who are planning to 'vote with their conscience' , not voting for either Trump or Clinton regarded as having wasted their vote.
I asked this question on the forum but got zero traction with it.
Thanks.

RE: A song for the lovers

Agreed. thumbs up

Yep it's on a bunch of soundtracks.
I'm sure I heard I heard it on some manly action movie

(and definitely not on Gilmore Girls uh oh )

RE: A song for the lovers

Nice.
Interestingly, here's another lovely song of the same name, but with different lyrics

RE: Why are steakhouse meals so big?

It's a duathlon.
My first and likely only one ever.
Tis grand really, just the diet a struggle.
