Throughout my idiotic 20's I was blind to anything other than physical beauty, which lead to some involvements with women who, despite being total smoke shows , were kinda vapid. (though def no more than I was myself).
Looking back on it I met the potential love of my life when I was 19. She was and is sweet, caring, principled and exceptionally funny, but she had some burns due to a childhood accident, which I couldn't look past, because I'm unevolved. Happily she ended up with a great guy who deserves her, and she has two lil kiddies now.
I hope I get a second chance someday, but I still have more growing to do .
I say again , Why is it the many unnamed millions who died in the Soviet labour camps on trumped up charges, were never acknowledged or commemorated in any way by Russian authorities. Seminal book on the subject is 'the Gulag Archipelago'. The grim reality is that the wider world doesn't intervene if you only commit atrocities against your own people.
Isis have been running scared from bands of female Kurds, as the jihadists believe it a great dishonour to be killed by a woman, and more importantly they can't enter heaven if they die by a woman's hand.
Thanks for responding to my question Miclee. You have a big ole brain under that hat
I'm so glad I don't have to vote as I don't like Trump or Clinton (neither Clinton for that matter). Though I'd certainly trust Hillary more with the nuclear launch codes.
This talk by kinda conservative Andrew Sullivan and quasi liberal Sam Harris made sense to me, if anyone interested. A longy but a goody:
Can I ask a question to all you politicos out there, speaking as a non US citizen. Why is a vote for a third party candidate, rather than Trump or Hillary, regarded as a waste of a vote? Why are folks who are planning to 'vote with their conscience' , not voting for either Trump or Clinton regarded as having wasted their vote. I asked this question on the forum but got zero traction with it. Thanks.
RE: The end of the tale
or just the last one.
