On a scale of 1 to 10 how needy are you?
Found this video and it made me laugh and sigh at the same time. For those who don't watch links, the guy is demanding compliments - even to the point of eventually begging in the street for them.I go through stages. Most of the time I'm the cat that walks alone, who needs your opinion?
Then there are times when I too want to be praised just for dressing myself
1. Do you glow when people say nice things?
2. Stare at them suspiciously?
3. Take their praise for granted?
4. Need More Compliments!

I think everyone enjoys being complimented, Biff. For me, it depends on the type of compliment and the reason for it...an insincere one will have me raising an eyebrow but a heartfelt, honest compliment can bring a ray of sunshine to an otherwise lousy day.
I think a successful partnership needs to a refection of our own opinion.

As for the work I do, yes, I do get praised and appreciated - not only by the horses, but also by the owners.
Otherwise I wouldn´t bother.
Mind you, I should feel privileged that they let me groom and exercise their horses in the first place.
