RE: On the bright side of the blogs

If I don't scare away my prospective candidates before that happens...

I'm curious as to whether you find some men intimidated by your education or profession. I know I've been hesitant to approach some women on CS as I wonder if perhaps I'd have anything in the way of stimulating conversation to offer someone who has higher learning. I worry my dashing good looks will only carry me so far.

RE: On the bright side of the blogs

Amanda isn't going to be single for long, I suspect.

RE: Manspreading and the re-evaluation of sitting

I believe correct air set etiquette should be as follows;

Window seat holder gets the window armrest, and of course head laying capabilities against said window.
Middle seat holder gets left and right armrest.
Outside seat holder gets aisle armrest and the luxury of aisle leg stretch for one leg.

Please share. You know it makes sense.

RE: Manspreading and the re-evaluation of sitting

Sorry map, I don't want anyone "mooseing" me. Keep ya meat and two vege well concealed for those special occasions, thanks.

Moose knuckle manspreading is almost most certainly a public transport display too far.

RE: Manspreading and the re-evaluation of sitting

I know there's a God - he made emergency exit seats.

Platycleis affinis, the tuberous bush cricket apparently has the largest "boys" relative to body size in the animal kingdom I imagine those fellas are glad they don't fly budget airlines.

Unless in company I'm a "spreader", for no other reason than I'm 6'3 with a lotta leg (jealous much, girls) which needs to go somewhere and naturally splays. I wish it was because my ball size was equivalent to that of platycleis affinis as an excuse.

RE: A Perspective: Men and the Myth of The "Midlife Crisis"...

It's all part of our evolutionary process; perfectly natural.

Fortunately most of us are no longer cave men at the mercy of our biology and have the capacity to control our hormones rather than making excuses to justify certain behaviors.

RE: now what do men want?

TR, or hand you a broom ?{/quote]

Any attention, any.

RE: now what do men want?

Feed me. Somebody please feed me.

RE: what

Right now I really want nasi campur, but as it's 4am and I'm not in Indonesia, I guess I'll have to wait.

RE: proposing

And diamonds?

RE: proposing

I don't believe in marriage and see it as nothing more than an ancient religious ritual, a bit like Chistmas, I stopped believing in Santa Claus and fairy tales a long time ago.

RE: Hero's Don't Always Wear Capes

Was the song Paranoid? The bartender probably will be next time.

RE: Thoughts about love

Dare I say among romantics love is evolution's trick to make more of us.

RE: Portugal.....

.. but in looking for a place to spend winters, as is my wont, trying to maximize pluses, and keep the major downsides to a minimum,

My personal favorite destination getaways in no particular order;

Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
Ubud, Bali.
Gokarna, India.
Pokhara, Nepal.
Lake Toba, Sumatra.

Portugal is often at the top of expat/retiree destinations for good reason.

RE: I like to travel...

You'll have to aqua-int me.

RE: I like to travel...

Everyone needs to wretch new heights of passion.

RE: I like to travel...

That's how the kids are doing the "mile high club" these days. We're in safe hands.

It would be required to burn well into the night.

..all you need to bring is that body.
It's yours. I trust your appetite is healthy.

RE: Chilly Tonight

I could deal with that, TR

Let's move to Alaska, Molly. We can enjoy winter the year long.

RE: New on here and is this real?

I've met female CS members all over the world from Europe to Asia, even having had lunch alone with nine female members at one sitting.

I'm not your typical CS male, granted.

RE: Divorce

From the feminine perspective:
....every physical contact, one takes half the karma of the person

And half his possesions.

...eventually, the person with lots of unresolved karmic baggage goes crazy

Yes, with all your possessions/bags, she finds it hard to fit all of her and your belongings into her new home.

...yoga meditation (Atma Kriya) removes the karma

Who is this removalist you speak of who may get my bags back?

RE: Divorce

Maybe....men are driving their wives to divorce?

To ensure wives make it to divorce proceedings on time and without accident, driving them your self makes perfect sense.
