RE: Sold my van . . . farewell adventure. :(

Your van may well be bright yellow with Bob Marley-esque motifs dotted over its surface the next time you see it with dreadlocked baffana behind the wheel.laugh

Thanks, biff, I enjoy a day in the life type blogs.thumbs up

RE: Roasted Jam and peas

Crunia - did/do you also have a legless grandmother?

RE: Roasted Jam and peas

Non - You've reminded me of a food ritual I witnessed as a child many mornings which I found equally unappealing.

My grandmother lived with us in her last years of her life as she had become somewhat of an invalid having lost both her legs to diabetes. We had many roast dinners in our house with my grandmother refusing to let us wash the roasting pan after the meal as she loved to wheel her wheelchair up to the fridge the following morning with a couple of slices of bread in hand, to then wipe the bottom of the baking pan collecting the leftover solidified cold fatty mass and gristle that lay across its surface and take it as a meal.

Bread and dripping was my grandmother's favorite breakfast, a breakfast I am unlikely to try.

Good luck with your food experiments.

RE: Offerings please!

Usha's sacred place. I bet there are plenty here who would like to make a deposit, innit?

RE: Statement of a professor on internet dating ( viewed on Sat - TV )

Some of the most interesting people I've met have been those yet to know what they want with their resulting search seeing them explore a plethora of pursuits and endeavors resulting in a vast array of experiences making their company rather splendid.

RE: Bad Habits...

Whiskey often, heroin occasionally, loose women as often as I can...

RE: Best. microstory. ever

I love microstories. And dragons who haven't quite got the idea of being dragons.

RE: My bf still open his dating site profile..

Kasih - so you now automatically believe men will lie if asked a perhaps socially awkward question?

Are you sure that's a healthy position from which to even begin a relationship?

RE: Jealousy - what is it good for?

biff - I love my life, what I do and who I am. I do understand I have flaws and I'm not perfect.

I think most of us earlier in life grappled with jealousy in one way shape or form, some of us identified or understood its negative impact, learned, then decided not to let it seep into our lives any more, some people had more difficulty and continue to deal with its consequences.

RE: My bf still open his dating site profile..

Kasih

Is your believing he would lie about his answer a reflection on your attitude toward men generally, perhaps you've dated a lot of liars, or has he shown himself to be dishonest before?

RE: Drama Drama Drama

What's the saying? "Drama doesn't just walk into your life. You either create it,invite it or associate with it."

RE: Valentine's Fight

Sorry, but you sound like a bit of a fifteen year old princess who didn't get what she wanted and is now bad mouthing him in the school playground.

Just out of curiosity, what did you do for him on Valentines? Anything?

RE: The Ten rules that are not

Funny if the bible was a test and God actually wanted the independent thinkers and not the gullible sheep.

RE: Dangerous Words

Biff's going to delete her profile and come back as Miss Construed.

RE: The Ten rules that are not

I five minutes even us poor cs saps could come up with a better list of commandments to live by.

How's this for the first one?

Thou shalt bring no harm to a child in any way shape or form.

RE: Singles of the world

I'd get on my knees for you non, again.

RE: Casting spells....real?

Moll - I imagine your benefit to be a group of spinsters sitting around bemused by what it takes to land a good man. I'm happy to contribute in any way I can. Give to the poor, I always say.

RE: Casting spells....real?

My transparency should be valued.

RE: Casting spells....real?

You can be sure of that , Moll. I've got an experience I'm sure you haven't been through. Now, come and be all tied up and helpless.

Hmm, I am making assumptions, I guess.

RE: Yay
