Daears thanks. Didn't quite get your meaning but picked up the vibe.

Red thanks, I'll check out the poetry section some time soon.

TRogue Only an artist can say a hard thing in a simple way (to paraphrase the great man himself).

Gypsy you're a messer blushing (though I'm taking that as legally binding. No take backs! love )

Molly I'm flattered that you thought of me. Twas beautiful, of course.

A bit a poetry good for the heart. The soul should always stand ajar, as they say.
Thanks everyone.

Mary Oliver

Thanks will give him an ear.

I think I flubbed the numbers there.
It was more like my mid 20s when I read some of Mary's stuff.

I won't pretend to be a poetry guy at all. I'm only drawn to stuff with really simple themes that I can relate to.
eg.

RE: I responded to a casting call!

Yerp really good.

Mary Oliver

Sure is.
I only noticed afterward that there is a Poetry section. Should have posted it there.
Anyway enjoy.

RE: I responded to a casting call!

There are some really good Danish TV shows.

RE: exploitation

RE: Does God Exist?

Stringman that's the truest thing you've ever said.

RE: What is a Soul?

I don't trust any book that's 12 hours long, that doesn't have one joke.

RE: What is a Soul?

This ought to start things off Stringman:

Only 11 hours 41 minutes (for part one) (of six)

RE: Respect or self respect

Ok I watched it.
Not PC to say, but clearly they are a family of itinerants. (That's not an Irish accent. That's a pikey accent).

RE: Respect or self respect

Vid wont play but pretty sure thats the irish Prime Minister and his cabinet on their world goodwill tour. Credit to the country thumbs up

RE: A rodents Nook

Incidentally I have a mouse in the house at the moment.
I'm amazed at the tiny space he can fit into (* deftly avoids obvious joke )
I've tried a live trap where you can let them go, but it hasn't worked yet.
Don't want to kill him (already named him Rizzo, but don't want the kitchen to be like a scene from Ratatouille either.
Anyway hopefully trap will work. Humbling to be continually bested by a rodent.

RE: Baba Vanga 2019 predictions.

He is. The Z stands for Zuckerberg

RE: Baba Vanga 2019 predictions.

Fiorenza my sympathies on your loss. RIP.

It's hard to convey sincerity on the internet, so saying that is basically pointless.
Anyway you seem to be doing great. tip hat

I was amazed at your English so it makes sense that you're not Italian originally.

RE: Baba Vanga 2019 predictions.

Zman you actually do have a statesman kinda vibe. Maybe you Should get into politics.

Also you have a passing likeness to Lenin, which millenial voters would eat up these days laugh
( Vladimir not John )laugh

RE: LIFE HAS CHANGED UPDATE

Very best of luck.thumbs up

RE: can quality children parenting exist in single households?

Speaking from personal experience, single parents can be all the support a kid ever needs.
Logistically, it's definitely a tougher job for one, but as long as the kid feels loved, everything else can be worked out.

Personally I find it more troubling that parents seem to be demonised nowadays for choosing to be a stay at home parent, as if it somehow dooms them to a life of of indentured servitude. There's even a suggestion that their life choice is somehow an affront to the feminism.

Even the language we use is terrible. (eg. the awful term: 'housewife' ).

Be nice to your folks this new year, if you're lucky enough to still have them.

Ho ho ho.

RE: Tension in the aisles

Ocee12 that's just good sense.

Covertly adding some Zanex sprinkles to her to-go Latte is the secret to a great marriage.

RE: Perceptions, people.

You can game the system to get the one you want, if you pretend you don't want to murder anyone.
