I have a car myself, I also commuted for a few years, though even then I parked outside of town and cycled the rest of the way.

Nothing makes me roll my eyes more than folks who drive ridiculously expensive cars.

eg. My boss drives a 100k Porsche for his 0.5 mile drive to work
despite the fact that he's grossly overweight

Everybody who's physically able should ride a bike.
It's practically free (no fuel, insurance etc.) , it gets you to you destination faster in a city, it's fun and it's super healthy. No downside.

And if you DO drive, folks should base their car choice on fuel efficiency and cargo space primarily, otherwise you just look like a total knob.
