We want to look outward for answers when we have all the answers already.....there is no need to look outside at anothers creed...create your own for you.....
I don't know whats going on there but somebody clearly dropped the ball...there is no way his charges should have been dropped.....I don't care about color....any case with similar facts and evidence should be tried....hate crimes are hate crimes if you commit hate crimes you need to pay the price and that includes setting it up yourself and then lying about it.....
I give without expectation however when all people do is take eventually you find yourself with nothing left to give....im at that place and at the same time I am grateful for every person I have in my life and everything they have and continue to do for me...especially my son he's always there for me and I appreciate and am thankful for that....
and this why I don't support isis brides now whining after the caliphate has fallen wanting to come home....nope you made your choice and chose to go support isis and their atrocities and now that they have lost and these women are in camps they want to come home and bring the kids of these idiots....I say you made your bed now lay in it....we don't want you back here bringing your sick ideologies with you....stay there and reap what you've sewn.....they made a choice and that's on them.....I see them try to use the kids as an excuse....well those kids are citizens of the countries they were born in...not citizens of any western country.....
I think it was and still is entirely needed in order for women not to be treated like chattel....this is what happens in a totally patriarchal society where men make the rules not recognizing the humanity of the women by their sides.....
st. beckard....you would do well to realise that people take different paths to get to the same place....there is no right or wrong...we're all going the same way.....
just because you have an opinion about something doesn't make it true....a lot of natives celebrate this day as a day of giving thanks....they don't have to be reminded of the past....
I have been working on myself since my 20's and im now 51...so when I say it takes time...I mean it takes time....I was working and had small kids at the time and all the other stuff too but still made time because I chose early on to smash cycles for my kids.....
