Vierk ~ Alas you are too intellectual for the common masses here. Me thinks you should be writing this on a Mensa Blog where people of a higher IQ and grasp/appreciation of your writing will be able to engage with you. I loved the Wizard of Oz. So much behind the story. . Enduring and informative to this day.
Harbal ~ just a quick question what era are we speaking about. For some reason I have her with a long dress but are we speaking Last of the summer wine type era ? just let me know , when you have decided.
Harbal ~ I beg thee. Don't go back to yonder drawing board. The poor chap is scary enough as it is. I am happy to draw this country woman of robust build with a chubby face and fat, short fingered hands.
CelticRose I have been in love with a married man and him with me, I felt he loved me intensely. Not just a fling, we had all in common. I don't think he loved his wife [that's not ego] but if your marriage is not working then go, do the decent thing and don't live a lie. Life is not like that. so many men stay [and women] with men they don't love for many many reasons. Relations, their family, whatever.
It is convenient to keep the relationship going and pretend to your wife things are ok, but it is not fair on the woman [or man] who is really in love deeply with the man and wants some commitment.
Who likes being the other woman. I was young too. Innocent. It took me a long long time to get over it. THE HEART IS ITS OWN MASTER
spl123 If you are speaking about the love between a man a woman, then no. I believe it is only possible to love one person. If the love is real. A widower or widow can still hold the love for their deceased in their heart, or have affection for an x wife as she is the mother of their children. However even though there is a song 'torn between two lovers' I think real love can only be between two people.
Harb Of course I did and it was terrific. I really enjoyed it. Chapter 2. was better because you knew that wham and bam were disposable to their Employer should Mr. Wilson prove good in certain departments and he certainly is good at gardening, healing and who knows what else. It is the innocence and yet, he took the thorn out.... [not an easy task, and it was pleasurable ] so It would be great to have the time to write an ending. I see trouble of some sort I hope I am wrong... Noises like the sound of trumpets. mmmmmm
Vierk I have taken breaks 'fasts' from CS Blogs. It clears the head and you have lots more time on your hands. Replying Blogs and babysitting blogs you have written your self takes time and before you know it you've been on line for ages. It burns the eyes out of me. It's good to take a break.
Harb ~ Before I leave the Blogs for an early night. Did you do the into yourself with the 3 men ? That computer thingy you were doing the other night ?
Harb. As an avid reader, I haven't come across a style like this. I am trying to concoct some semblance of what Mr. Wilson looks like with the trunk, yellow underpants, sleeping the shed which he likes to be untidy and loves his hedgehog enough to take all the fleas out..... flies follow him. There is so much more to create an amazing character. Like you say, it's all in the hands of lockdown. I am online much more than normally. I am painting too, and r reading more. It's such an innocent story but that is the great twist....
Harb ~ Extremely clever. I love the explanations of why people do certain mannerisms with their faces, hands, and I think it is extremely clever. No doubt . Mr. Wilson has more attributes besides ridding Gooseberry bushes of mildew and I hope there will be more to come..... when you get the urge to write Marco Pierre ? I am wondering if the pet hedgehog can cook too. Great story.
Track ~ I wish I had the room for that amount of animals. You must be a very kind person and your animals are lucky to have you. It sounds a really nice set up for you and your pets.
A1 It is the same for me. Dogs love unconditionally. My Cats have always been loving and affectionate and I am lucky in that birds are not afraid of me and come very close and often I think they have no ego as man has and are so grateful for food, water, and some love and shelter. They ask for so little and give back a lot.
Harb ~ I concur with what Candy has said. I love your blogs, your wit, your intelligence, I put my hand out in trepidation as I think I gave out to you recently but my bark is worse than my bite.
Fargofan ~ I think you mean the owners of cats are a nuisance, most feral cats in this country were once loved and cared for. People move house, leave the Cat, or worse [as I work in animal rescue voluntarily] throwing kittens or cats unwanted out of a fast moving car is now an everyday occurence all around Ireland. These animals are left to fend for themselves and form colonies. Dogs are abandoned the same way, emaciated and badly treated they roam at night when it's safe scavenging.
In any humane country there should be a local sanctuary or a SPCA who you can contact regarding this nuisance Fargo.
spl123 ~ I was out this afternoon cutting a friends hair and we had something to eat so I am not that long back... I would never marry. It would be crazy, I have gotten used to my own ways. I think staying together at weekends and keeping in touch during the week, having some weeks away, but not a live in lover. Nope. I don't think I could do that now. Never say never. I think spl that when Mr. wonderful comes along you will have no way of stopping yourself falling in love. The heart is it's own master. I hope you find happiness if you do fall in love.
spl123 I really loved John Lennon, he was my favourite of all the Beatles and I had him all over my bedroom wall, well I was of that age. I was devastated when he was killed. I still think that their music has stood the test of time. I particularly like The one All the lonely people where do they all come from. It's just another day [if you listen to the words. ] so sad. Have a lovely Sunday Spl123
Fargo ~ Using the words of a well known Beatles Song you could win hea art by sending an Arty sort of cared with the words 'Send me a postcard, Drop me a line Stating point of view Tell me just precisely what you mean to say Yours sincerely wasting away
That might work. Interesting that you knew Germaine Greer. She was always angry and yet she had a good mind. She liked to shock ... I read all her books, Maryiln French and many others and was even in a Feminist group ! Germaine mellowed as she aged and even had made a Homeless shelter out of her own home. Naive though as she had a bad experience with that .
Awholenewworld ~ Welcome to C.S. Blogs. I wish you well. Some of us are here a fair few years and Some of us come and go and take breaks from the Blogs.
RE: The Wizard of Oz, as metaphor for the corrupt...
