RE: I'm still had no boyfriend since birth is it wrong

Without sounding patronising you are still a young woman with time on your side. You know what you want and as with most people you will find it or it/he will find you. When, how and where none of us know and in a way thats the beauty of it.hug

RE: :(

No, wish better luck for yourself by all means but that does not mean wishing the rest of the world bad things is the way to go. Pull yourself up to our level of happiness and satisfaction rather than wishing the rest of the world join you.

RE: The Best Advice Ever for Singles

I agree with your point, honesty and giving are very important in a sucessful relationship. What is also important is your life away from the relationship and how that will affect the relationship you are in. What i mean is how your organise your work life and other areas will affect your relationship. Most couples start out with love, honesty, giving etc but lose there way because of the pressures of modern day life and also the pace of life, so much to do and so little time to do it. This inevitable impacts on a relationship.

Libya.

My mother and other relatives are Maltese and live in Malta so i too hope Malta is not swamped.

Libya.

Sky news showed pictures earlier of alleged merceneries from other coutries hired by Gaddafi. Regarding oil prices if the people of Saudi Arabia start to ask for there freedom and take to the streets then who knows what effect that will have on the world economy. Fuel prices here are high already having risen from 80 pence a litre to £1.30 a litre in less than 3 years if the Saudi people take to the streets i dread to think what it will increase to. I know the bigger picture is much more important than how it affects me but as i have a short commute to work daily, about 50 miles, it just goes to show how world events affect us in one way or another.

Libya.

We saw this happen in eastern Europe, once it started in one country others followed. What happens in Iran will be critical and more importantly how Israel reacts to it. I love my own freedom and probably take it for granted but understand other peoples desire to have there own freedom but it is those people who will achieve this, our involvment will not be required or in the long run be appreciated.

Libya.

That sums it up perfectly, help us remove this hated dictator but once this is done it reverts back to the big bad west. The lives lost in Iraq and Afganistan and also the billions of pounds spent, and for what, what has or will be achieved.

RE: Your child versus your partner.

I would save the child everytime. No love can match the love you have for your child, also at least your wife has lived more of a life. In that situation i am sure your wife would want you to save your child, if it was reversed i would want my child saved instead of me.

RE: How to gain weight?

Eating carbs late, after 6 pm, would be a start.

RE: Hey there.

Agree with you countrythang62, just remember there are some lonely men on here and sometimes as a result this turns them into bitter men which results in them acting in a negative way. Would advise you or any other women on here not to take it too seriously.hug

Two quotes, which one do you agree with?

Thanks Living the dream, enjoyed the chat. Have not heard about the bike incident but does not surprise me. hug

Two quotes, which one do you agree with?

The answer i think is:

Make prison a punishment and a deterant. You do this by removing the three gym sessions they have daily, the free education and open university courses available to them. Take away the x boxes from the cells and the pool tables from the wings. And actually make them spend a little more time in there cells. I could go on, IT courses, music lessons etc but i think you get the point.

Make sure the sentences are correct for the crime committed.

Not saying that this will solve everything but it would be a start. Don't believe in the death penalty, mistakes are made and do not believe one man has the right to take another mans life. But for certain crimes life should mean life. Think of all the terrible crimes in the last twenty years, now consider the fact that there are less than fifty "full lifers" in the system.

Two quotes, which one do you agree with?

The honest answer is it means ticking off more crimes as solved, saves money and time. It is in truth all about saving money and achieving targets set out by the government. As for the justice, if he/she has committed ten burglaries the reality is that if he/she admits to all of them in court the time served in reality is the same as committing two burglaries. In effect only two out of the ten victims recieve justice. The prisoner has got a result, the police can claim a higher percentage of crimes solved and the government are happy that targets are being achieved as this information can then be passed onto the media and public.

The world needs a happy ending from time to time.

Livin the dream, sorry should have said previously, nice hearing from you and i hope life is treating you well.hug

The world needs a happy ending from time to time.

Very true, unless you have been through something like that, what they went through is unimaginable. Obviously pleased with the outcome so far but hope the "happy ending" continues. So many extreme highs and extreme lows is bound to take its toll so i hope help is offered to them and they do the wise thing and accept it.

The world needs a happy ending from time to time.

Yeah your right, they all seemed to have faith. Whether you believe or not theres no doubt this helped them alot.

The world needs a happy ending from time to time.

I suppose whatever lies ahead of them is better than the life they were leading, working down a dangerous mine for poor wages (i'm guessing). Also as they are lucky to be alive everything from here on is a bonus.

The world needs a happy ending from time to time.

Agreed, after what they have been through i wish them all the very best for the future. Fame and fortune awaits i just hope that there life does'nt turn into one big circus and they don't lose sight of what was important to them while awaiting rescue.

RE: parents

It is John, it changes you as a person and does so many other things. It puts things into perspective, changes your outlook, what you used to consider important no longer matters etc. I could go on and on so i best stop now, lets just say becoming a parent is a wonderful thing.

RE: parents

It the best thing that ever happened to me. Total and unconditional love that for me cannot be matched.

The world needs a happy ending from time to time.

Yeah really was great seeing the happiness on the faces of relatives and friends waiting for there loved ones. Pure natural emotion, happy ending, feel good factor all round.dancing

RE: true love

I agree John its a huge emotion which is why when its missing from your life it has the effect that it does. The way i look at it is if you stay positive and open you at least have a chance of finding it. If you get negative and try and switch off that emotion your chances deteriate and the need is still there underneath as hard as you try for it not to be.

RE: true love

Keesy 45,
You are so right, i have also thought in the past, concentrate on other things, love is just one aspect of life. But it is in built in us to find love.

RE: is mailbox down or something?
