So sorry to hear about it. My best dog died 3 yrs ago yet whenever I see similar one, I still cry. He was only 10. He's Luigi. It's a grief I can't get over with.
In my home country too, older people are called Kuya (older bro) or Ate (older sis). A bit older is either called Auntie or Uncle. Very old people are most of the time addressed as Tatay(Father) or Nanay(Mother). That's why we who are working overseas are finding hard to please people whenever we go home as there as so much of these new found "relatives" though not literally knocking at your door. I don't consider them a nuisance though. It's just funny how they consider us who are working abroad. They don't even realize we're on the same level in just different condition. No matter how hard you tell them that life working abroad is hard and highly competitive. And me jobless again for the 3rd time.
@PJ, I don't feel like 56. A bit younger and will always be young at heart. My knees are still OK and no back pains either yet at times I forget where I place the keys, the cellphones, the purse and a list of other things even my heart.
@Bajan,thank you so much for those emos. I love the dancing elephant. Could have been a lot of tremors around. @Fotinia, thanks for the cheering. What a lovely flower! I don't drink wine. But for you, I think I'd try. @Ani,thanks for dropping by. We've lost one Pinay for very good reason though. Remember Migsy, the funny and cute of a girl. When will you and I do the same for the very same reason? @Angel, what could be inside that box? I dare not open. I hate surprises.
@Abagail, thanks for greeting me on this special day. I think you're ready to party with me. Nice color of manicure. Very sophisticated. @Single,, oh I love those emos really. Thanks for the greeting. I bet the icing of the cake had already melted with so many lighted candles. To each and everyone, thanks for taking time to greet me.
My impression is that you are a fun-loving, well-meaning young lady. At times I'm guilty of flirting or funny comments that sounded quite bold. You, I think is more of girlish, refreshing and funny. And flirting online, I think is OK as long as no one shows off private parts.
@Ummka, I understand that you, just like me, aren't that well-versed in English. And basing from all of your comments even in my own blog, that you aren't racially discriminatory. Maybe, you ran out of proper words to use. The word native as used isn't appropriate. Not to worry though, I understand.
Thanks for the inspiring words. And thanks for igniting my desire to learn esp about uploading videos. I would surely miss one young lady like you. But find time to share with us good happenings.
@Cyn, I have no BF but I'm not complaining. It's actually a matter of choice. If I'm just looking for just any man, there'll never be a problem. I'll probably have a long list by now. It's the heart and I've got only one heart. With regards to potentials, I believe we all have the same potentials. Only few were able to nurture it or that the environment for it to develop isn't around. The more we overcome our weaknesses, the more self-confident we are. But this shld be coupled with humility not arrogance.
A modern approach to romantic relationship! But at times, there are those who have ended their "testing period" and tied the knots when their children were already in their 20's. Not into this kind of thing too had I been younger. And not until this time. With some Muslims they do have the term temporary marriage. A sort of test driving with some privileges up to a certain period. A win-win agreement financially but what about emotion? Not really sure, though.
I've been here in Japan for some 20 yrs. But never heard of it too. One thing I don't have a TV. Buying one would be too much for the budget as I've got to pay dues once in every 2 months beside from raise in electricity. This computer is the only luxury that I can't do without. Nevertheless, that could be true knowing that the Japanese have inclination to pets. Thanks for sharing.
@Bogart, thanks for appreciating. @Welela, I finally made it after all so many blogs and instructions about it. After all the so many failures and giving ups. I do feel now I'm understanding this laptop friend. For those who aren't in love? Maybe we are all in love but not romantically. Just as yet. @Ummka, thanks for the sakura especially for the choice of color, the color of the young. @Ed, yes! They're wonderful people. Mr. Cat gives me most of the time, time for introspection. And Cristine, well, she's a child angel. Had she not brought it up, I wouldn't have tried again. And yes, I'm learning a lot in CS world not only about relationships of which I'm rather weak. @Mike, we may not be in love right now but it's ok if we're open to it. To everybody, my warm thanks. Thank you for passing by and appreciating the song and the singer.
I finally did it!!! Thanks to you Mr. Cat and to you Ms. Cristine you both have challenged to try one more time. But really especially to the pretty Miss. Had she not brought it out, I won't give an effort to try again. Thanks. This is one of the songs that I like. Please enjoy. I love the singer too.
Here are my prayers to those who have the misfortune to be around there working hard to live a decent life, more prayers to those who are added on the long list of unemployed. Hope it was just an accident.
@Aisha, so very true. The character of the person shows through in using public utilities. I'm not that tidy but I see to it that both the kitchen and the comfort rooms are clean. Had worked as a hotel maid before and I've observed that people who looks like well-bred/well-mannered left their comfort rooms or their whole rooms not in total disarray. I'm lucky to be here in Japan as almost all train stations have comfort rooms. At times, a high tech toilet seat at that. Problem is, some users don't try to maintain its cleanliness even provisions are already there.
@Ummka, in my home country, there are public toilets that require a certain fee for its use and they are well maintained since there's somebody present always to receive the fees. I happened to work in one semi government entity in my home country and I adore their comfort rooms. Those are a real comfort. With pipe in music and centralized air conditioning and sooo clean, you can even have a snack in there without puking as it was very wide and there's a foyer like in its entrance. My blog isn't really about toilets per se but about the discipline some people in some places have. But just like you, if I'm going to have my own building, I'd put priority to the comfort rooms too.
RE: A Word Of Thanks
Hurrah! welcome back. You'll be walking as usual with a little bit of rehab. Watch your diet from now on.
