well seeing as i'm no spring chicken myself........ anyway back to topic at hand. Whilst i agree mainly with the theory and of course the low probability of all going smoothly, I believe over a period of time with regular contact via mail and txting then maybe thru skype, 2 people could get to know each other well enough, after all they can at least see each other on skype so will know the physical make up of each other. Learning about each other takes time, and of course meeting with that person would be a priority, but some situations do not allow that in a timely manner. Hence the continued communication, after a period of time i guess ones feelings would be that of sincere like or maybe the start of love. I am not sure if this makes sense as i am an old man and dont just bandy around girls names nor my private parts on skype as i have heard other old men do/have..... So all in all, i can see some possibilities of this working, BUT, it has to be worked on by both people and given time to allow feelings to grow. JMHO...... Good topic, should make for good comments.
i hear you Teddy, And your "mystery Lady" will be flattered i am sure that this has been an enjoyable and heart felt blog with lots of well wishes from lots of people.
Still we must forgive some of the elderly, they are lonely at times, we can only offer them friendship, it is their decision to accept or not. Its like leading a horse to water, you cant make them drink it. Shame really.
Due to the amount of mail i have received blasting me for locking this joint up, and that i see a new neighbor ( thank you to Guiltfree) has already seen how some here can be quite vindictive and worry about other peoples blogs and how many comments or views they get rather than worry about what should concern themselves more. Their own business would be a good start.
By the way matey, there are some who might think this blog is just a front to run up high comments and get into the top 2 or 3 or 5 most commented blog, seems some are more concerned about how other blogs rate than their own well being. Is there a doctor in the "hood".....
due to unforseen Muggers (read trolls0 being spotted in then neighborhood, i have again decieded to lock up my joint and leave it here to rot away in the days, weeks, years to come. teddy i know what you mean, it is the lonely ones that most here take pity on and pretnd they like them so as not to hurt their feelings. Good Neighbors do that. Some accept help but others just get grumpier, we offer the hand of friendship, but.... oh well what can we do..... hows the love of your life going? spoke to her today yet?
Amus... all is good, do not worry, After all it is Fot who "WE" all would like to see here. And hopefully she and whoever can make amends, if not, well then at least they have tried. You just looking out for her. thats not a bad thing.
