Primarily, my first thought is "can i add to the topic of the blog" This is to say, If a blogger is asking for advice, am i in a situation to give any, Is the topic relevant to me, If so i add to it, Some of the blogs i stay well clear of, no matter who is the author of the blog is those that are just joke after joke after joke or blogs that end up being a chit chat session between maybe 3-4 bloggers only. Those sort of blogs do not interest me. I read all comments of the blog i am going to comment on, so i can gauge a feeling if the commentators really do understand the blog. Like most bloggers here, There are a couple of writers that i will add comments to their blog. But first and foremost, the blog has to stir some sort of emotion inside of me to make me want to comment. Then i make what i believe to be a pertinent and straightforward comment. just my way of doing things.
To put a monetary amount on any damage done is asking for trouble, when the next person sues for damages due to the effects of smoking (passive or not) and is the same age as this ladies husband, will they get the same amount, or more/Less? How can anyone pluck a figure out of thin air. And to go to the next level, Since smoking is legal, why not sue the government as well as they allow it to happen and actually make money from the taxes they apply to all smokes sold.
Zman, it is just ridiculous how a court can come up with such a figure. with all the poverty in this world, and not just in 3rd world countries, wouldnt. it also begs the question to be asked, "how much profit is enough" I do believe that a person who works hard and takes the risks deserves good money, but seriously, how much is too much. In regards to the lady getting the 23 billion (if she ever gets it), She will never be able to spend it, it would be impossible. It is court rulings like this that are just so stupid, it just beggars disbelief.
there are a lot of people that work in profession such as medical, education and so forth where it is advised to them not to have a picture on the net let alone a dating site. Not ALL people have sinister reason for not displaying a picture. I'd rather it be blank than a false picture.
Abagail yes the memories, things arent what they used to be. There is a saying however, "the more things change, the more they stay the same" Good to see you back around. How are things going, Are you still in touch with Mike? if so how is he, havent seen him for like ages.
butterflies They do say "great minds think alike" on the other hand, some people say "small ones never differ" I'd like to think you and i have a GREAT mind.
Loulou I can imagine attending someones grave site one day and reading, "here lays ............ beautiful husband, father and friend to 1,639 people on facebook",
The blogs are a temperamental place sometimes, But mainly fun. I dont have any intention of going anywhere else.
Cat, I should think it not worth our time looking for the missing blogs or those that may have written them, I think their are investigators from "scotland yard" looking into it.
Mollybaby i have it somewhere here on my hard drive, If only i knew how to look it up for you, seeing as you seem very interested in him, I shall search for he's details and send them off to you. Great to see you around. even if it is to ask for someone else's details.
Cocheta be still my beating heart. Again you have graced me/us with your presence. Unfortunately, Social media is taking over the world, thus our lives. I should be grateful though, how else would i have been able to meet such a beautiful person such as yourself and others.
Cat, Ah yes You Tube, I thought it be best to leave that alone. Didnt want anyone to think i had an agenda. You are welcome to rewrite this in 3 weeks or so, I hear from a very unreliable source that you have some excellent writers that work for a company called Copy & Paste
Zman, Your example is very valid, I am sorry that you can not download your favourite cheese, but maybe you could download "how to make it" There is a chapter in in "funk & wagnalls" that shows how to make cheese.
Johnny_Sparton Thank you for your positive input. Yes we do all have different personalities. That's what makes the world and CS a wonderful place. As for pepper I have seen how she is friendly with everyone. Can't say that she has ever graced a blog of mine. (Shame that) I might be one of the ones she stays clear of. You have been a gentleman Johnny_Sparton and I look forward to seeing you around again.
Kasih Hi there sweet lady. On behalf of all those that have given compliments here I say thank you. I must say your hair is looking great with what you have done with it. I'd also like to say how great your dress sense is. Have a beautiful day and may the sun shine on you always.
Calleis Hi gorgeous, great to see you, I love the outfit you have on. Your beaming smile is contagious. I think i know who you speak about, It has been remiss of me not to mention the beautiful funny witty respectful Butterflies, she is a true lady.
India, Again, not a cross word from you, politeness and respect, many here could learn from you. Those people you mention along with delatude and some others are very nice people and certainly have special qualities about them. The lady you mention that is lucky, i should correct you and say, it is i that is lucky, Lucky to have such people to communicate with such people i admire and respect. it is i that is lucky.
Cat, you are much too kind, What you said is true, but much too kind.
Whilst i was sitting up the front with my back straight, you were actually paying attention to what was being taught, hence the reason you become a professor and i became .........well i became me.
Zman, Just a little different from all the negative blogs, just having a bit of fun, Everyone is welcomed. Even the trolls, as long as they give someone a compliment.
been a while since i last saw you, You're looking a million dollars, Whats the secret?
