The scammers are looking for money. Others that put up fake profiles are emotionally disturbed and do find it funny to put up fake profiles. It's getting to the point for me that I hate opening my emails and now the scammers are even sending their email addresses in the flippin flower section to me. It's getting really bad here. I think the only enjoyable thing is some of the threads. I see the mailbox turn red and I think 'crap'...gotta go deal with another scammer then I give them another scammers email address and feel a small small triumph!
I am still friends with my 18 year old son's father. My 13 year old daughter is there right now (not related to him). We are having Thanksgiving Dinner there...we live in a small town and we all get along. He will go to my Dad's with us for Christmas, but we will never be together as a couple. We've both moved on. But still do things together.
I would never be with someone who doesn't love animals. So I guess there would never be a 'sacrifice' on my part. They know up front I love my animals. Plus I have severe migraines, so my yorkie sleeps next to me during these weekly bouts with them (and every night anyway). He is my comfort all three pounds of him!!
Thank you!! My daughter has my maiden name and has since birth, she wants me to change mine back to my maiden name (I have my ex-husbands..not her father...I know complicated huh). She would never want her dad's last name, he wasn't in the picture and is no longer alive. It seems like a lot to go through but my last name right now is as common as Smith and I have had one of my credit cards compromised so this will be good to change it!!
Oh my gosh!! I almost forgot about "Black Friday", think that is the single most profitable 'holiday' for America!! I remember always getting giddy for the newspaper so thick with ads and such deals. I don't do it anymore I have no patience for the rude people who will hurt you to get something and the people who just start shopping from your shopping cart and yes they do!! But it used to be fun!!
Your Thanksgivings sound like a lot of fun. We were suppose to go to the coast to my daughter and her husband's, but that fell through so my 13 year old is making a grocery list, I am warming the curling iron up and we are going out for a turkey and the fixins in a few minutes!!
There is a thread about how people around the world celebrate Christmas (which by the way is awesome). Well taking a cue from that. What holidays do other countries celebrate in November. I just heard of this Guy Fawkes day in the UK. Some interesting holidays for sure. We also have Christopher Columbus Day in America but I think we use it as an excuse for a holiday in Government!!
What does everyone have going on in November. Even Americans what do you plan for Thanksgiving? Going to see family??
Just be careful and don't read too much into someone online until you meet him. He can be a multi-tasker and have a few ladies he is having an online relationship with. Just don't fall for him UNTIL you meet him in person.
