I've never been married, by choice, and would never be the one to propose marriage in the 1st place - nope. I have had a few proposals... turned them all down, with the exception of one & was engaged for quite a while, before I had to call the whole thing off.
Also, it would be a very rare occurrence for me to be the 1st to propose "love", initially.

For the most part, I'm not a highly spontaneous type person, though I can be.....

sorry... no overwhelming experiences to share - at least not here, on a public forum.
