On average, what's the oldest pair of jeans you have in your closet?...

...and that you can you STILL get into??......NO LYING!!....

Oldest Underwear?

Oldest pair of socks...?

Oldest Shoes??

Do you still have clothing 5 years or older that is too small for you, but you keep them because you're dreaming of wearing them again one day....

Bloody oath I do I have trouble getting rid of a good old pair of jeans that have taken you years to wear in. Nothing like a comfy pair of jeans.

Socks never really wear them.

Undies toooooo many so I wouldnt have a clue.

Shoes again I tend to stick to the ones I have worn in dont really know how old they are too be honest I have a few pairs which are my favorites.

But jeans yesssssssssssssssssssss they range from about 5 years old to recetly a few months ago, I have about 6 pairs of jeans.yay

As for shoes I have to do a clear out regularly as I buy at least one new pair everyweek (ok I admit it is usually 2 or 3)

Oldest Underwear?

I have underwear that I have had for years, because the Ice Princess has lots.

In response to:

Oldest pair of socks...?

Around three years old, but I have lots.

In response to:

Oldest Shoes??

I have two leather jackets that are at least 30 years old. Thing is with leather they never wear out.

They are scuffed and worn but each mark tells a story, like antique furniture.

What am I supposed to do? Chuck them out? No way!

irishlass45: but i still have my shirt

That will teach him.

YOu know, it can be a reminder of how far you have come...

As opposed to raising bad memories.

Not that I know much of your story Irishlass, but you sound grounded.

I have 8 pair of cowboy boots...none under 300 dollars...that I keep getting re soled or re healed. Animal rights activists are still trying to find me to march in front of my house.

I have some shirts that I have had many many years....and like a previous poster.....won't part with my leather attire.

But My boots are my pride and joy. I have to have them special ordered, because I have exceptionally small feet ( and no it is not true...get your mind out of the gutter!). So the cost of the boots go up with each purchase...another reason, I won't part with them. They arenot only footwear...but investments...LOL

Funny this thing with leather; my riding gear is really getting years added to it now, and you are right, patching and gluing but just wont part from it.

When you finally got that material to sit right there is nothing that can replace it.

I need help from a Sanskrit scholar! I want to put "NADA BRAHMA" above the eye,in the proper sanscrit writing.

It means "The world is sound"....... But it has to be right...these things are not east to erase and start again if you make a mistake roll eyes
