I am & always will leant towards the right , but not in the fascist way some people perceive the situation. However , I think I’ve been very moderate & objective in my opinions.
If I wanted to impress a woman , this is the last place I would come to .
God forbid if anyone criticise the Israel government for the massacre of 14,000 innocent civilians. Are we not supposed to care about humans , irrespective of religious beliefs?
No conflict settles a dispute.. This isn’t the first conflict & unless they could end their disputes diplomacy, then this will be an ongoing saga for generations to come .
Ps. I’m happy for the hostages released . At least there is a happy story in an otherwise brutal war .
The Israeli government said at the start of the war that they will not stop until Hamas is destroyed. They said there will be no negotiations with Hamas . 6 weeks later , not only have they not destroyed Hamas , they were forced on the negotiating table with their enemy .
Before you retaliate in a war situation, you must weigh up the implications of your actions . What I mean is , will you destroy more of the enemy that you will radicalise ? It seems like the later , according to what’s happening in the West Bank .
No country will accept a one state solution. Even Israel’s big brother ( USA ) says that’s out of the question. We need responsible leader on either side & an international governing body to mediate. That would be a good start .
First of all , I’m not a Hamas sympathiser . I work in a very Jewish area & for any lasting peace , both parties need a change of leadership. And these are not my words , it’s the general consensus of the majority of the Jewish community. Every child deserves the right to say mum & dad & every mother doesn’t have to bury a child because of political gain .
If this is not a war on Palestinians ( and I’m not saying it is) why doesn’t the IDF , with all its military supremacy, go into Gaza & fight Hamas without flattening the place ?
So you agree that many more innocent women & children with be slaughtered in the coming weeks & months . My worry is that there will be more children that will be radicalised , which in essence, will create another generation of Hamas, not only in Palestine but in the free world . We have 4 million Muslims here in England & we are already seeing anti-Semitic violence increase . How long will the Muslim world stay silent before it boils over into something more serious.
Probably the fact that I don’t show my feelings enough when in a relationship. That doesn’t necessarily mean I care less . Ie. I rarely use the word love . It’s a word that’s thrown around too much & usually has a “sell by date” attached to it .
Ok , so we have a fragile 4 day truce , which will allow a hostage exchange . The Israelis will continue the war with Gaza in the south where the displaced Palestinians have been told to evacuate & according to the IDF , this will continue for another 2 months until Hamas is eradicated. So my question is , how many more civilians will lose their lives before the international communities intervene?
Do you mean like what is going on in the West Bank , with Israeli settlers land grabbing & killing civilians. Burning their houses & terrorising Palestinians. ( no Hamas there )
Before we speak about Hamas ( and I’m not a fan or support them in any way ) let’s talk about the voices come out of Israel . Quotes like “let’s nuke them” “Palestinians are human animals “ “Let’s flatten Gaza” these quotes are coming from senior government officials.
Let me tell you how things work . When you control , or there is a country the controls every movement, everything that moves in & out of your land , there will always be a resistance.
If you’re going to criticise Hamas , then you must also criticise Ukraine for trying to liberate their land .
While we talk about the maturity of Israel . Why don’t you let the world know that Israel is the only country that can detain children and imprison them without trial , or access to a lawyer for something trivial like throwing a stone .
You expect a people without freedom of movement, with no airport , no seaport . We talk about the 240 hostage , but what about the 2million plus hostages in Gaza ?
As a Christian, I have no affiliation with either Israel nor Palestinians, but as a human being with empathy. All I see is politicians with their propaganda agendas criticising each other & justifying the killing of innocent civilians.
