I could see a teacher going down a slippery slope however some of the poetry in the bible is quite beautifully written and if treated as literature, then I could see using it as such.

Of course. Probably by some religious organizations that needed some statistics to prove that "America needs religion" and are using their findings to apply for faith-based grants in their target neighborhoods. Or something like that.

I consider myself a "free spirit," my own description of what I think. I did take the little quiz and scored 93% (14 out of 15) of questions answered correctly.

I found that interesting; in that I must have retained some basic knowledge of the different religions that I barely studied but I am not to my knowledge an "expert" in any of those religions.
