I consider myself a "free spirit," my own description of what I think. I did take the little quiz and scored 93% (14 out of 15) of questions answered correctly.

I found that interesting; in that I must have retained some basic knowledge of the different religions that I barely studied but I am not to my knowledge an "expert" in any of those religions.

Of course. Probably by some religious organizations that needed some statistics to prove that "America needs religion" and are using their findings to apply for faith-based grants in their target neighborhoods. Or something like that.

Hmm.. I got 3 wrong.

Mother Theresa... dammit, I thought she was a hindu doh, the biblical figure who suffered and remained steadfast... come on.. who knows this stuff laugh ... and I really was not sure about reading from the bible as an example of literature. That surprised me actually because I can see that going down a slippery slope in a classroom... especially if the teacher provides example upon example upon example etc.

I could see a teacher going down a slippery slope however some of the poetry in the bible is quite beautifully written and if treated as literature, then I could see using it as such.

Then again....there are things in the bible that would make me blushing or barf if asked to explain to a kid in Sunday school class

True...I got kicked out of a lot of Sunday school classes for asking questions. Amazing how often a kid of 8 to 12 hears that they could quite possibly be the offspring of Satan!devil

It has literary merit, just as the Illiad or the Aeneid.
