hahaha Hey GrizzW speaketh for thyself here. I believe the government here could never use nukes against civilians here because the civilians and their interests can't be separated out from the military (which is made up from civilians and their families).

We modern rebels prefer to vote for change

instead of resorting to any means possible......

I think maybe we're on the same page. We law abiding folk look at violence in terms of defense, and to be able to use whatever force is possible when we are in a situation where an individuals life is threatened.

Too few people (here anyways) are able to be defend themselves with their hands or feet from a perpetrator..... maybe an obese person is the exception here though because they can probably easily flatten someone against the wall or floor.....

The popular answer here today is unequivocally "YES" because the American armed people including the American Hunter are one and the same American Armed Services and we've had an ugly civil war before.

To better Answer your question, if you do your homework before commenting, I believe you will find that the American Hunter alone, outnumbers all military forces combined on this planet.

Most folk here i the U.S.A. may suffer either obesity or muscular atrophy but not testicular atrophy. I used to box golden gloves in my youth until I suffered a detached retina. Call me anything you like, but today I'd rather defend myself w/o risking that kind of injury again hopefully by carrying.

I'm glad we here in the U.S.A. live in a Republic then, and not in a democracy!
Dang if I want to be in a position believing that the police will be there when I need them... not reality, here anyways. Who wants a police state anyways? Not I!

yep, when it's mandatory or the priority, a two-income family means something in a traditional relationship gets sacrificed.. and that's usually quality time for the kids…. IMO.

I'm not sure what my attitude would be about most anything today if I were in my twenties and having to pay off previous generations accumulated debt and pay into a federal system, probably with no return (SS, Medicare etc.)

With most well paying jobs in technically demanding areas outsourced to other countries, where are the opportunities for them?

The 50/50 fail/success rate in the U.S. existed before them and since most folk are independent are not religeous today, what holds couples together?

Maybe they should listen to an old bull like you?

I'm told, although I have enough credits to receive Social Security, that I will never see a penny I paid into it because of my state government pension. That's not right either.

Do I go to a regular Social Security office to withdraw everything I paid into it? It's my money and I want it now!

Social Security was not designed to be a pension w/benefits. It was set up to be a supplement.... so why don't I get mine? Wy do foreigners who never paid a dime into it receive social security? why why why is this system so corrupt and unfair?

I think social security should be looked at closer than SS disability. Disability is a life-line for most recipients including two of my female friends having MS. They take medicines regularly to help stop the advancement of their disease. The monthly charge for these meds. alone is just crazy.
