Your answer doesnt have to be long either. If you like the look of his profile and decide to reply you can just say 'Hi thanks for the flower' or 'What would you like to know'...just examples, you dont have to write a long reply.
Then you bring her up that way and hope that she never finds herself in that situation but a politicians daughter being pregnant at 17 is not going to send the message that it is ok.
I hope that I do show the people around me that I appreciate what they do, I certainly make the effort and would always thank anyone who did something for me whether it be a friend making coffee, my Mam inviteing us to dinner or soneone serving me in shop/restaurant etc. Good manners? yes but also that I appreciate what they have done. I also hope that I have instilled this in my children, they always thank me when I do something for them, making lunches, dinners, doing their laundry.
