If there was recantation there would be no population growth. There would be a sent number of plants animals humans and they would be replaced not ever exciding or reducing that number. What we are dealing here is much bigger its called the end…so live with it figuratively speaking of course .

I suppose spirituality means different things for different people. For you it’s a personal journey, my understanding would be changing the world collectively for all to benefit from it. ie) transport, medicine, communication…etc somebody had to believe in it strong enough to act upon a belief to make it a reality.
There is no more to life then life. If you are using half of your life looking for a god instead of being one then all you have done is sold yourself short. Even in your bible Jesus states –
34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, `I have said you are gods'?
35 If he called them `gods,' to whom the word of God came--and the Scripture cannot be broken—
36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, `I am God's Son'?
All you have to do is realise how much we can do today! We perform open heart surgery, even perform surgery on unborn babies… fly from continent to continent even leave this planet. Bring the world together using different types of medium, telephone, tell a woman TV Internet etc. stop looking for something that isn’t and focus on something that is…us!

Come on Serine I could use the same argument for people facing poverty in Australia. We have families living out of cars and in tents because simply housing cannot be supplied. Our pensioners simply cannot afford heating or cooling or for that matter, “food .” I could go on and on but I’m sure you are getting the gist of things. Then we have poor class middle class and the extremely rich, no different to any other country in the world. Kind of Ironic don’t you think? These refugees you feel so companionate about are spending up to 70.000 US dollars per head, hardly qualifies them for poor? There are many things to consider as well. When you are bringing a new nation into the country, you are also bringing in their enemies and no doubt new ones will form as well. We all have to take in certain amount of immigrants and we also have a choice as well as an obligation to ensure there is a balance.
So finally we hit a subject we are passionate about? Politically hunting whales has everything to do with the Japan and the people. I’m afraid they are the only ones who can change that law at any moment.
As for global awakening
we’ve had global awakening for the last 30 years. Austral and Australians in general made numerous adjustments and educated ourselves to accommodate all nations freedom of expression and what have we got in return for our good will?
