I wasn’t having a go at you personally I was just pointing out we are all subjected to a predictable outcome to certain extant. Thinking for yourself is a personal journey which again is quite different to getting an education…. Of course, not unless you feel education was your personal journey. But here is another problem that arises- the more we use education systems the more of a system we become .
OK. Let me get my giggle out of the way first. It was a baiting question proving a point that we can only draw conclusions form the information provided and thus making us very predictable …sorry Trish. If you look you shall find! If our information is wrong so is the whole concept of creating our reality. Take for instance advertising works because the mind has been set via toxic literature that creates a need – be honest, is there a need or just a perception of a need? Another good example of toxic literature in various deity beliefs. When the mind has been set with the philosophy of a structured belief, humans become predictable as programmed robots. Our education system is a combination of various philosophies. I don’t believe for one minute it teaches us to think independently but to adopt and follow one of many such philosophies offered.
Yes for sure everything has its consequences! But what about our education system which is the foundation of our thoughts and methods used to learn & achieve. If the education system is wrong then we are wrong- isn’t that how it works, since you have no method nor the right information of testing these hypostasis?
But what are you replacing it with? more literature which is not generated by your thoughts to start with. Education system? Which has already patterned your thoughts?
there are more ways to destroy you mind and body then just alcohol and drugs! What about toxic literature in form of advertising, subliminal messaging in commercials, toxic politics.. etc when you think you‘ve got a grip on reality its when you haven’t because your thoughts don’t belong to you as much as much as you think. At the end of the day you are only a follower and a repeater of somebody else’s philosophies and mind manipulations.
I totally agree people need to be even tot happiness. That makes me really wonder as to why we are on this intellectual level? Nothing comes easy to humans and this is one of the reasons I started this topic with the scenario in mind. Clear mind for humans would be enlightening but for some reason we seek out toxicity instead.
60 minutes had it for a long time then they took it off and put back on several times. I check If I can find it again- half the show was actually dedicated to the movie seeking out the truth.
I know what you mean. Years ago I held 2 jobs and worked something like 18 hours a day and on odd occasions when I use to sit down I would start having out of body experiences!
I agree to a point but this is also something to consider. When 60 minutes tried to interview the scientists they quoted, they all refused to make further comments because they felt they were grossly misquoted.
all good but its not just humans that seek these chemicals out, some animals and insects do it as well. But its not about animals its why humans do it, being the most logical of all species.
I’m very curious in your opinions as to why the mind prefers to be intoxicated via various means and methods such as drugs, meditation, alcohol and of course toxic literature such as religions and junk science.
What is wrong with just experiencing clear thought reality on daily bases?
