I was just about to play that Kaybee, to think these lyrics were written by Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, Mr Reznor did say in a recent interview that this song was no longer his, listen to the original by NIN, crazy :
Amazing how different a band can sound before a major record label/stylist gets hold of them. Snow Patrol are a perfect example, most people would not recognize this song with Snow Patrol as it is completely different from 'Chasing Cars'
That's one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever heard If you genuinely believe that then you obviously don't have a very good opinion of men in general.
I haven't been to the cinema in awhile but I still watch dvd's quite often and the latest one I watched was Tron : Legacy. The special affects were good but the story was pretty lame, definitely an eye-candy movie, if you want to watch something you can 'switch your brain off to' then this is one to watch, otherwise I wouldn't bother.
Out of that list I'd say The Beatles, Lennon & MaCartney definitely the best song writers of the 20th Century. Personally I would choose The Smiths, just look at the amount of amazing songs they released in a relatively short time ( 82-87 ), Imagine how much better they could have become if they had managed to sort out their differences. Marr & Morrissey are probs only 2nd to the aforementioned pair, the only reason I would choose The Smiths over The Beatles would be for the fact that alot of The Beatles early stuff is very 'poppy' and not my taste in music. 'The Queen is Dead' is probably my favourite album of all time too.
