It's tragic but been going on for awhile now, remember those two Polish guys that were murdered by that 16yo in Dublin a few years ago. Unfortunately it happens everwhere, not just Ireland.
I don't see anything wrong with women making the first move, it is the 21st century and many of the old dating traditions are outdated IMO. I also don't see anything wrong with a woman proposing to a man, why should women sit around waiting for years till the man decides it's time to get married.
I don't think the IEforum have changed much in the year I have been here other than that in the last few months they have got rid of the trolls. There has been a lot of banter in here the last few nights both up till around 1am. Alot of regular posters have left but they have been replaced by new regular posters. I think if you have been here awhile faces change, people come and go. I have been a regular in a chatroom for close to 5 years and it is the exactly same there. Just the nature of forums and chatrroms I guess.

My first girlfriend and I used to write letters to each other all the time, despite living about 10 minutes from one another. She died a few years after and I still have her letters almost 20 years later even though I have moved many times in those years
I would love to see them cure cancer. I would love to see them find life on other planets and prove we are not alone. I would love to see someone prove there is no god ( that would be really interesting just to see how people would react ), could be disastrous though. I would like to see Everton beat Liverpool in the FA Cup final I would love to see the lottery numbers on the screen match the ones on my ticket. I could go on all night
I wasn't talking about junkies or people with mental health problems, I am talking about perfectly able people who just have no interest in working, and I am was not just talking about Ireland I realise such people are found all over the world.
I think a lot of women, not all but a lot, enjoy changing or taming men, not sure why. Maybe they enjoy the challenge. That is why I believe a lot of them prefer not to date nice guys as there is nothing to change or tame. Thats my theory anyway.
I agree The vast majority of people would work if they could, but there are people who would rather chew their own arm off than do one single days honest work unfortunately.
