Oh I haven't had a crush on anyone on here yet, although after reading Sally's post that might have changed I did fancy someone on a previous site, we went on a date but it didn't work out
Yes they sure do, Bangladesh are a pretty good side too. I was looking at the official ICC rankings yesterday and hey have a few players in the top 20, so would be a great start for Ireland.
I know cricket isn't the most popular sport in Ireland ( understatement of the century haha ). But I remember 4 years ago in the last world cup Ireland was briefly gripped by cricket fever when Ireland did so well, especially when they beat Pakistan on Paddy's Day. Anyway the world cup started this week and was just wondering if anyone would be cheering for the boys in green. They are currently playing Bangladesh as I write this and they are doing quite well, hopefully they will pull off a win
I left the country of my birth, South Africa, almost 9 years ago and moved to Ireland. I lived there for 8.5 years and loved it very much. 4 months ago I decided, very reluctantly, to leave Ireland and try my luck in the UK, as the last 3 years in Ireland have not been good as far as employment is concerned. I am still unemployed here and every day that passes the more I regret leaving Ireland, as I now consider this is home rather than South Africa. Although that said I feel the future looks brighter here than Ireland, as far as job opportunities are concerned. It is a very tough decision to make and should never be taken lightly. I guess only time will tell whether I have made the right decision or not
You definitely seem to be competitive, you have beat me before ( even i have my off days ) but it won't be happening too often so I wouldn't be dusting off your dancing shoes just yet
They are still Irish citizen's and should definitely be allowed to vote. They will have been citizen's of Ireland for many years before leaving and therefore should have a say in the future of their country, especially since a lot of them will more than likely return at some stage in the future. I am sure the vast majority of them are living abroad temporarily. If they have been abroad for many years then that is different, maybe they should make it so that any Irish citizen who has been living abroad for 10 years or more should not be allowed to vote
