Winning the lottery would be really nice! I met the man of my dreams and with him I really don't have much of a want, just one thing To move to Scotland where he is right now. Then we wouldn't be going thru this save save save!
There are some valid points to this, I will say that. but I have one question. If a women who is say 45, and assuming single. And the Guy is say 25. He may have the ambition and direction. But he does get older, so what happens when he reaches the 45 mark has his midlife meltdown, and takes off now with the 25 year old he met in the office. What happens to the 65 year old women who had worked to help him get in that office, and now does not have the strength, will, or body to move on. The thing is in the original question, she had stated she was asked out by a much younger man. I think she should see the whole picture.
I had seen this bit of information on CNN. And while I had mixed feelings on the bailouts. None which had me thinking that we would be giving them money to save there butts. Never would I have ever thought that they would get us to pay the money back to us.
I had just heard something, that made me take a second thought. While the banks are getting the tax payers money in the form of a bailout. People are now getting double feed and double finance charges being placed on the costumer, I assume to pay back the Government. I don't see where that is right at all. We bail them out with tax payer money, and then they charge the tax payer to pay off there debt. Does anyone else besides my self feel we are getting the shaft? I posted this in current events, but I would have liked to post it under scam storries
I think it depends on the couple. And I think it depends on where they are in maturity. Some women who might be in there forties or fifties may feel like in there thirties. Some even look it. and to date or be with a guy in his thirties I don't see anything wrong. But I do think that a guy in his twenties is not mature enough and to young. I really don't think there are many guys who are guys in there twenties that are mature enough to have a long term relationship. Don't bite my head some are but some arnt.
Yes I did meet him on CS. we have been getting to know each other for over a year now. And this year I am moving to Scotland. He can't move here as he has kids, but I don't so it will be me to move. Visits between the US and Scotland doesn't cut it. But just so you know, There is nothing thats going to stop me. Some people search a life time for there soulmate, so when you find him nothing is going to be able to stop you.
My ex was in the Airforce 14 years. I had no problem with that. But I know that some of my friends did. It is a lot of stress when they are split up for sometimes 2 years. When thru some of that time there is no communication. Some just can't handle a life like that.
It's hard to manage at times, but it's love and that can be pretty powerful. There is now law that says it's easy to find your soulmate. and nothing says they have to live next door. There just might be a cosmic reason that some are found halfway across the world.
I have the same problem, but mine is not in another state it's a whole different country. But we have decided to try and make it work. Just will take time to get everything in order to relocate. I'ts dealing with personal lives, kids are involved, and so are two governments. But If it never gets to the point we can relocate. we are still not giving up.
Either A or b could be the right way, But C would work if, 1. you can afford the trips. 2. you have a good bit of trust. The answer to see is continue as you have been until one can relocate. So much can happen you don't think about, you can't see in the future. Something could happen to change it all around. And if it doesn't well going thru all that in the end could make your relationship even stronger. Any choice A.B.C. or even the rest of the letters you want to include, there is no garenty it's the chance people take everyday to have love in there life. You just need to ask your self what kind of chance are you willing to take? Good luck with what ever you choose
I do not belive that any country including US should have any. If there must be war, then so be it. War has been around from the dawn of Man. But man has no right to kill millions of innocent people, that have nothing to do with the war or the opinion of the governments involved. If man feels they have to kill to get where they want to be, or feel it's the only way to solve a disagreement, then let them kill each other. Not the innocence that has no control.
Well at least your in the forums, and your honest about reading or the lack of. The difference is, You at least get an idea from the forums as who is who. I don't blame someone for sending out multi mail, just to see what comes back. But do you lie and say you read there profile, and tell a short women you love tall ladies? I am 5'2 and was told this,tell me where would that impress me? send out bulk mail it's a good idea to see if someone is intrested. but at least make it genuine. And I amnot saying yours arn't but there are so many that don't even come close.
Nice thread! I am not on here all the time, truth is I times are hard for all of us. And I have not been able to get on here in a while. But it isn't because I havn't wanted to. CS people have lives outside of the computer. And it can be hard to deal with out there, for all of us. CS is more then a dating site. It's family. And like with any large family we have our momments good bad all of it. But we are family and because of it we are there for each other to do what we can. I owe a lot to the CS family they got me thru a lot. including cancer. It was good to be able to join in threads and get a laugh. I had friends that e-mailed me everyday checking on me. and giving suport. And yes it was even good for me to get into heated threads. I got a lot of frustration out in those threads. And I hope that I can give the suport, or make someone laugh, or even argue with me to let out there frustration and anger that might be there form something we just don't see. I owe this to my cs family. I love them all!
Just like anything else it's a 50/50 shot. depends on how well the smarter one handles it. Does he/she rub it in to the other all the time. does the one not as smart try to act as smart with no luck at all? and personallity comes into play. There are all kinds of people who need all differant kinds in there life. And just maybe the smart one lacks some where, that the other may fill the gap, and you have a good balance.
If CS women were men. It was fun, made me laugh, something I need to do a lot. and it in it's own way opened my eyes to how we really come off sounding to each other. I give this one 5 stars.
Sure Point out that I forgot to answer the question. Yes I was against the first time they taxed it and every time they have added to them including this time. Really instead I think that anyone in congress that votes to tax us on anything (like cigarettes and soda) shouild should have there pay taxed as well. The vote doesnt have to pass, just voted.
I'm not sure how much cigarettes cost around here now. But as a couple of months ago they were over $50.00 a carton. But I have been going to the Indian reservation to get mine. at $15.00 a carton. But in the State of NY. there taxing about everything. And it is just messed up. extra tax on Soda. Diet Soda stays the same but regular soda has an obease tax on it. Is a matter of fact anything that has sugar in it is taxed. God for bid NY to get fat!
I don't want anyone to think I am upset. But I would really like to know if anyone really reads profiles? I have gotten dozens of e-mails from men on CS, most are not found in the forums. But most say they had just read my profile. And then go on to tell me how exciting I am, or how my profile says everything they are looking for, and hope to hear from me. Now the thing is, my profile states that I have found some one. and that I am hear to see my friends in the forums, and to make new friends. And it is not a small addition to the profile that could be over looked, it's the whole profile. I am not mad or anything, I just don't understand how you could take anyone serious when they see things in your profile that just isn't there.
I agree. And yes the respect they had for the earth is still stong.
As I said before I don't know that much about that part of my herritage. But I have always had the pride to say I am part of that nation.
One thing had always stuck in my mind and had an impact on me. And it's kind of funny how it did. But when I was really young there was an add on tv, about polution and rivers being destroyed. and all I remember was an Indian complete with the cheifs headdress, and tears running down his face. Does anyone remember that? Anyway it had made an impact on me.
I just read this post, and if I had let my partner down it would have been in breech one of those three things. Communication and the support can be rectified. But trust if thats had it's line crossed then you might have reached the end. Trust is the one that is the hardest to get back once you have lost it. So if you had let your partner down like that, with trust issues, then building is a mute point. the building has already been torn down.
