I am a bit disapointed though. The waiting list for Afghanistan is long and our troops may be coming home before I can ever get the chance to serve. I feel so useless just sitting here. Oh, well at least I can continue my work with the charities here.
Guess I don't understand the English humour. Guess his rant against feminsm is supposed to be funny too? Okay will take your word for it but I personally don't see the humour in it.
Hey, I was joking around with Patmac about boxing and Elley made a judgemental comment about me just wanting to beat men up. So where does he get off pointing the finger at me? Oh, I am not allowed to defend myself? I speak from my own experiences as to why I am taking up more self defense. Why don't you read the comments before you make judgement on me?
If this is just a dating site, why do they give you the option on your profile to pick between of friends, hang out, email, or intimate incounter? Why not elimate the other options?
It is true. I beleive anger fades but when someone loves, some never get over the hurt. For some it scarrs them for life and they shut down; some even committ suicide over a lost love. Love is not based on a the heart as the heart pumps blood and has nothing to do with emotions. The emotions are all in our brain and we need to control the signals our brain is sending to us. We just need to learn to control our emotions through meditation. This is why I don't get all broke uop when a guy dumps me. Hell, can't even remember that last time I even shed a tear over a man.
Oggle away my dear as in my old age that is quite the compliment. I had to take some time to get my life in order and work on some small business jobs.
Exactly that is a good move in the right direction. Other thing is get yourself out and get your mind off him; join a club, take up a hobby, workout, etc..
Once in a while I do picture my ex to give me more incentive when I am doing my kick boxing. Great workout physically and mentally.
I am thankful for the feminist movement. It gave me a chance to serve on a combat ship for the Canadian Navy. It taught me I can be more than a baby machine and a punching bag for a man. I am also don't have to depend on anyone to fix my house, my car, or provide for me. Feminism taught me how to be a person that can live a full life without being controled by any man. If a guy can't deal with this, that is his problem. Women need to stand on their own and be the person they want to be and not be the person everyone expects them to be.
RE: Gender Equality?
Thanks.
