My mother never breast fed me as a baby, so I never tasted human milk. But I remember when I was breast feeding my daughter, it has a particular smell that is really off putting (in my opinion). Maybe babies have it cos they don't know any better? In fact when I switched to formula, she didn't want any more of mummy's milk!

The only thought is just YUK

apart from preganacies i think woman house wifes get it quite easy, sure beats working a 40 hour week... I'd happily swap and stay at home if it meant that i got access to the credit card, car and shopping... i know raising children isn't easy, but working can really sux!

Did you ever think of women who do the 40 hr working week, plus raise kids plus do all the housework? Does that seem an easy task? I can assure you ...it aint!!

Yes actually, we have a very nice Maltese recipe for that.
You wash the artickoes well, then you open the leaves up a bit and prepare a filling, made up of tuna fish, lots of garlic, parsley, chopped fresh tomatoes, chopped olives and capers and seasoning. You stuff the artichokes between the leaves with this filling. A drizzle of olive oil, put them in a pot with some water (no need to drwon them) and let it cook slowly. It's beautiful served with Maltese bread!

When I cooked this with my ex who was English, he told me "Oh nice we have flowers for dinner"
