We have a saying here "Your home on a boat" which means you are in a good place, seems like you are all nearly set, that's brilliant that you can choose, making me jealous here.. I've had a few invites to the Philippines, I'm not sure the weather would agree with me though, so I guess I'll stick around Ireland and travel as often as I can, all my kids are grown and doing well so I have no problems there.. I hope that dollar ratio keeps up, it's pretty cheap in Phili I hear..

Life is full of turns and mistakes happen to us all, you seem to have come out of it sound and a place back in the Phili, and at least you had a life with him and children, you feel liberated to be alone that's great too, are you planning on moving back there?

That would certainly put a strain on any relationship, it seems like the controlling was a 2 way street, but you seem to be where you are happy and that's a good thing, and I believe everything happens for a reason..
