Just before I go to my leaba can I ask, do ppl not feel that in continously searching for another to make their lives complete that they are missing out on enjoying what they have?

I havent said I want anything other than to understand why ppl feel they have the right to carry guns? At no point do I pretend to understand the legistration in the US, I am simply asking as someone who has been reared with the knowledge that guns are to maim and kill.Please understand that I live in a Country where it is illegal to carry a gun and I just dont understand why anyone would want to.
No that is not the bottom line and you know it. I have not tried to be arguementative on this thread, rather am trying to understand another point of view.The thread is not about the dangers of vehicles, that could be another thread if you wish to start one, but about gun control.
I know and have been on this site for about 14 months, seen many theads like this and posted on some, still waiting for ppl to admit that what guns are made for though.
Ultimately, what this video says to me: The government is not interested in the killing or the not killing. They are interested in maintaining their power, and they will use whatever Machiavellian means that are necessary to achieve their goal. And if it means taking rights away, they will do so. The constitution was written as a safeguard against tyranny. They seek to circumvent this. All animals are equal, but pigs are more equal.
To me no person should have the right to kill another.
Can I ask how shooting this man would have helped you? I honestly would like to know am not trying to be argumentative. The man walked away, would you feel better if you had killed him?
I am simply trying to point out the different viewpoints, I dont feel that I have the right to take another life, that is my view, what I dont like is that ppl are not willing to accept that I have the right to this view.
you are just being facetious, I have stated my personal opinion, I know that others are reared with a different view. Asking me what now is like asking you to solve the problems my Country faces.
I know, and what I am trying to say is that I wish ppl would understand the views of those of us who have negative views of guns. I dont understand why those who agree with ppl carrying guns cant agree that guns are made to maim and kill. I am not saying everyone who has one will do this but it is a fact that this is the purpose for which they are made.
