this lady of about 65 or so got on and tried to explain
to the bus driver that she didnt have the bus fare but would he take her name and address and she would post the money to London Transport, I wittnesed this,
the driver wouldnt answer the lady but kept staring at her,
she didnt know what to do and she was wringing her hands,
so finaly she sat down ,
the driver glared at her thru his mirror,
poor lady was shifting in her seat ,in an awful state ,
the big think ignorant driver ,still glaring at this woman started giving it all that ,and how he wanted her to pay the fair or get off the bus, at that I lost the rag completely, jumped up said I would pay her fare and how dare he speak to this lady like he talks to his wife,
to be honest ,every1 was looking at me on the bus ,but I didn't care,
the lady said, as I was passing her to sit back down ,thank you I have just lost my son .
That incident has never left me ,or never will,
the man was rude and viciuos and like a rabid dog !!
when I got off ther bus I just gave him such a look ,
RE: What is the rudest moment who have witnessed?
Dawn I was incandesant with rage ,just imagined my own Mam being treated like that
and I reacted ,
this driver was exercising a bit of power ,
and you know what for ?
The measley 1 pound that was the bus fare !
and yep agreed both men and woman sat and watched and said nothing ,
well I hope it never happens to thier Mam !!
