Men are not THAT fragile.....and do get the message pretty quick with a "no response". It's the kindest way, rather than lead them up a merry garden path....
Yes, lest we reminded when we were disposed of by the French in the semis some years ago.
I give Ireland an outside chance of making the finals. I wouldn't rule out Australia. They have that "never give up" attitude...a steeliness about them. Always a worry. The French are a dark horse, and as you say perform well in the WC.
Anything could happen. There seems to be a lot of pressure building on our chaps as a dead cert to make the finals. On form, they should, but we know the WC always brings with it surprises in any sporting code.

I'd have to disagree. I think it'd be best if we threw all modern technology out the window and started from scratch.
I'm not big on small-talk. I mean there's only so much we can say about the weather...
I generally "go with the flow"....jump in if I feel I have something to say. Listening is more difficult, because we are all in so much of a hurry to mentally prepare our words of wisdom/wit/humour in response.
....but many a text message I've minsinterpreted because we don't have the visual cues....eg...body language/gestures.
I say, let's get back to basics of communicating, face-to-face.
RE: How to say "No"?
