The strangest thing I saw: I was in the fast lane, doing about 110km passing a car in the slow lane. Our speed limit is 100km over here. Well, this van behind me didn't think I was going fast enough for him, so(and remember it was 2 clearly marked lanes on a busy motorway) this driver of this van proceeded to drive between my car and the car in the slower lane...crazy.
I imagine you see some dumb things too on the roads.
Reminds me: I gave the finger to a trucker a couple of days ago.
Totally out of character for me....
I was coming onto the motorway and he didn't let me form the "zip", refused to let me in. I ended up in the scrub on side of road because I had to veer away from his truck.
Well, I caught up to him, and as I passed him, I slowed down, leaned over, game him the hand gesture and then planted myself in front of his truck and slowed down. When he went to pass, I moved to the fast lane and blocked him...
Like you, I've done a bit of everything...uni student, manager of disabled children, caregiver, worked in the circus(now that was an experience!), office manager, various clerical jobs in hospital/welfare services, strawberry picker, window cleaner, PA to GM, childminder, cafe manager, petrol station attendant, waitress....
Not the high-flying career I had hoped for initially, but have experienced a lot.
