A broken heart is a broken heart despite the cause.
It takes time to mend. Surrounding yourself with positive people helps. Get busy. Be kind to oneself....allow time to grieve. It's a process, not to be rushed as each has their own pace.
Seems like a very arty cultural scene there....would love to browse along there.
Not much chance of my getting over that way in the very near future unfortunately, but my children, may some day...their Dad was born in Hawaii and they have been brought up with American culture...eg pumpkin pies, celebrating Independence Day, Halloween, calling biscuits>>>cookies...and sandshoes>>>>sneakers etc.
