Broken hearts are no fun! I've experienced it; due to a long distanced relationship. He couldn't find a job in Maryland...got frustrated...and ended the engagement. Maybe it wasn't meant to be.

I'am so sorry to hear that! I know how you feel when someone gets frustrated and they can't get what they want so they blow you off too. Not good at all

Yes getting sick and being an a hospital of any kind especially from a terminal illness or a disease is very devastating to me too and hard to deal with.

for your poll I would say having my kids stolen, the pain of not knowing if they are being treated ok
but they are much older now...so I would say to have them taken by death or even worst..suicide
feeling that I was/am not there when they need me the most

I think the real question is worse to have a broken heart or to never know what love is, I been married but and I thought I was in love, but not til a while ago did I truly know what love was a met the one woman that I felt Love and she broke my heart because the idiots she been with had broken her heart and that fear and lack of trust she had ruined it!!! so to sum it up what is worse to never heal and open your heart again or never know what it to love, that's the worse never having felt it.------ This poll is Archived ------

I would say loneliness; there are different types caused by different reasons under different conditions; people end up lonely in marriages; with/ around so called ‘friends’ etc.. If loneliness becomes a way of life, especially for those who feel deeply that they have never been loved or never will be, chances are good that it will eventually become another form of clinical depression which then can devolve to other clinical conditions, such as Parkinson’s and most likely suicide. Probably one last try after other earlier attempts...

nyes a break up is a very traumatic event.Long distance relationship are or can be very painful. And if the person you really love stops mailing you . You start worryng as you can NOT just pop around to speak to that person. Which i have experience YES both us loved each other BUT the emotion of jealousy came in to play. thinking that my lady was cheating on me. i did not eat. i did not sleep good BUT it ios a wound that heals up. which mind did. The only problem with long distance relationships is you worry more regarding what the other person is doing. as i did BUT all end well DON xx

A broken heart is a broken heart despite the cause.
It takes time to mend. Surrounding yourself with positive people helps. Get busy. Be kind to oneself....allow time to grieve. It's a process, not to be rushed as each has their own pace.
