Son!!! you sure got that right!!It is tougher to find that special someone,when age is creeping up on you.I guess it is all in the way you go at it.I wish you all the luck in the world son. Uh!!!! If it is true honest love,it is not a mistake,but we sometimes confuse the emotion,with infatuation,or dependency,or posseivness,or what some would say,PuppyLove.Love comes in many forms and emotions.Real Love takes time to grow and mature.

Marriage is a very wonderul relationship,providing you meet the right person,and there is a steady partnership and communication and trust.Love,there has to be love,compassion and total togetherness.Ihave seen some relationships where there is all that good stuff,yet there is a hidden curse within.Jealousy,The nastey little Green Monster pokes his head in the mix,and if therei s no complete trust in everything,marriage is only a word.I dream of meeting someone who is the right mate for me one day.Iam what my screen name says(HonestNFaithful,through and through.So marriage is not for everyone.

I have lived through 4 EarthQuakes,2 Hurricanes,and 1 Tornado.The first EarthQuake, was in 1964,in Seattle,the second one was the Loma Prieta EarthQuake,in North Sanfrancisco(7.0), then one in NorthRidge,CA.Back in 1991, while i was on vacation up here from EastLA. Seattle had another one.The first Hurricane i was in, was Hurricane Ivan,2004,in Golf.The second one was in Brussard,LA, after Hurricane Ivan hit.So iam away from all this crap, and plant o move to SouthCentral Louisiana,next year.Lafayette.100 miles above sea level,from NewOrleans.The one and only Tornado i was in,was in Shreveport,LA,2 months ago. I did some damage,but mainly winds. I am not one to back down, if i can beat it.

Even tho i have been single!!single,since my youngest child was 3 weeks old,and now she is 32, I tried to make a go of it,with this guy i know real well,since my eldest was 1 years old,now he is 36.We reunited after all those years.I had a real crush on him, when i was a teen.19 years old,but could never bring myself to telling him.He liked me,but nothng ever came of it,cause he was procrastinating and leading me along. I guess you could say,
that he lead me on for along time,and then one day he disappeared.Not a word said.I still wonder what went wrong.

Hun!!!! I understand your feelings,and it can be very frustrating sometimes. Have you ever heard that song and saying before" Looking for Love in all the Wrong Places,Looking for Love in all the wrong Faces?" That happens to be one of my fave songs,yet it is a sound reminder, of just how hard it is now days.I t seems like all the BadBoys and Wild Gals,get the good picks,While folks like us,endup with the scraps.Thats why iam still fishing in the same fishing hole,and never gat a good bite. I don't blame for feeling this way,not atall.I only pray, that one day,we both get the Big Catch one day.

You are right!!!,sad to say it is hard to make thing mix, if one of the partners clamsup,and the other partner tries to hold things together for the sake of Love. Makes alot of sence to me.The gentleman in here also said something,in regards to distance. That does put a damper on things also.I was under the impression, that once you put in a personal profile,that would do the trick.You got me,on that subject.

What do you do for Boredom?

There is not much stuff in my garage to get into,but gardening stuff,and i have been doing that alot. Other than baking, i chat online,and come in here.Tomarrow is another day,and work will keep me pretty busy. I just thought i would ask that question to folks who did get bored and see if i could find out what they did. You find all kinds of people in here,from all over.

What do you do for Boredom?

What do you do when you get bored and want to pass, time? I make a serious mess in the kitchen,and bake. Inthe last month or so, i have baked 4 different types of cookies.OatMeal raisin,Macadamia cookies,Chocolate Mint Chip.cookies, Snicker doodles,and today, i baked Peanut butter cream cookies.Some how they endup going home with other members of the family,or stay in the freezer. It is better than laying around like a lump.

I have 6 brothers and 2 sisters.A full nest huh? Ages start at 60 and work their way down to 50.Iam 55 my eldest sister is 56,and my youngest sister is 50. WOW!!!! Sandwiched together.

To tell you the truth!!! The past is what it is called,and i prefer to keep going straight ahead,and not looking back.You can sometimes learn from your past,and try and improve your life today,but keep your eyes to the future, and hope for the best.

Well, i could say the same about men,but this is about women We are only human!!!!.Some women have tried to be nice,and ladylike,and they get took advantage of,and begin to fold in and not be so open with their emotions.Can't blame them for that.Sometimes a woman acts a certain way,cause they are afraid,and some are sick and tired of the Double Standard thing. You know what i mean by that.The man thing!!! I have an iMac 2002 computer.It sure beats using Windows.You don't have to spend alot of money putting in pricey programs,just so you don't run into Virus,Worms, or any other nastey intruders. I use to use a Dell computer,but the more problems i had with it,the more i wanted to toss it,right out the Window.Apple rules!!! Microsoft sucks!!! I have been a Macintosh owner for over 20 some years,and i don't regret it for anything.

Even Older Women need Love!!!

I could think of many reasons why people get angry and fight.1Frustration,2.Jealousy
3.Vengence 4.Possessive behavior,5 By-Polar,a sickness involving the mental and physical and emotional sence.Sibling rivalry,Domestic Violence.Wars,.etc.....
I hate fights!!!,as a child i would run away,cause my family would battle.If it wasn't one thing it was another.Iam a very loving and peaceful person,until someone un rightfully sets me off.I tend to cry,and i hate that.So there are Zillions of reasons why people act like beasts and fight.I t would be a perfect world for us to live in,if all were peaceful and calm.BUT!!!DREAM ON!!!!!

Back in july of 2004,i lived in Louisiana,and i did not live very far from the famous Myrtles Plantation.Story tells it that during the Civil War days,it was the house of a very prominant general and his family.They say, that you can still hear the children playing in the front of the house,and the figure of a servant,walking around the grounds.The servant accidently poisoned the wife and children,making a Pecan pie, they were going to give her the boot,and she did not want to leave,so by doing so she tried to heal the children and wife,so the General would let her stay,it failed and she was hung in the front on the lower branch of a Cypris Tree.To this day,this house has become a musium,and an Historical landmark.Believe me i was scared silly,when i heard that i only lived 3 blocks down from this haunted mansion.

I could sure use some good advice,right about now.
I met this guy in here,and we have been writing and calling each other,for about 3 months now.He is from Homer,LA. Next august he is coming up to where i live,and wants to meet me.Iam a bit nervous,and lost for words.He sounds wonderful,but this is going to be a test of confidence on my part.Should i let things roll,or what? I t has been a Coons age,since i have gotten a chance to have this. !!!!!!

Sounds to me chrisc79,that those kind of women you speak about,are only into getting what they want,and having the cake and eatting it too.Thats not me.Iam as my username says,HonestNFaithful.I do not expect perfection cause iam far from it myself.All i ask is fareness and honesty,and communication.I don't want alot of HOOPLA!!!! Slow and easy and straight forward.!!!Thats all,and the rest will come.

:Thats funny!!! that is the exact question i have been asking for years,and still no logical answer.What do we have to do? Put in a special application just to get a good man and keep him?Iam 55,and running out of Birthdays, You only live once and then you are living on barrowed time as it is. Good Question!!!
