Whatever you say about Suarez, Liverpool are been dragged down to his level. What top player or young prospect will ever choose Liverpool over another club again? Arsenal had a bit of a barren spell due to payments on the stadium. They became a selling club.
But they are now in a serious position to start challenging again. Suarez and Rooney! Now with that partnership, there would be trophies filling up fairly quickly!!

Seemingly Rodgers and the club told him last year they would facilitate a move to a champions league club if they didn't make the top 4! Also arguing about a release clause in his contract. Liverpool dealing very badly with this. What player would listen to them in negotiations now??

Taxpayers subsidising the unprofitable routes would be a social objective of the state. We don't want the pensioners and less well off people unable to get certain places.
Dublin Bus can't turn a profit now because of the way it is run. A private company would have it highly profitable. The tender system would be set up in a manner in order to split the number of routes in each tender. What is the point is selling one monopoly just to put in another? Although private monopolies are better than public monopolies ever will be.
And who cares if overseas operators outbid Irish companies in the tender and the profits go overseas?

All they have to do is scrap the public bus system. Tender the different routes out to private operators, include subsidies for unprofitable routes while bundling these in with some of the most profitable routes and let competition rule. The time has come to stop socialists from holding people to ransom!!

The solution is to start winding back the clock slowly. Put a blanket ban on social welfare increases for at least another ten years. Cut the numbers in the public service. If they refuse to go, just put a ban on hiring people there. Cut wages right across the government sector. The 7% cut in public sector pay legislation should be brought in. Although they have an agreement, tear it up! Leave them strike. Don't pay them once they are on strike. Stand firm. They will come back to work once the banks start sending them letters. Next time a bank gets in trouble, leave it fail. Cut the personal bankruptcy laws to 1 year. They are just some solutions.
