Two of my grandparents came here through Ellis Island one from Germany and one from Ireland.

Both had to learn English. My grandfather's Irish was hard to understand and grandmother only knew German. But they can here through the right channels.

So for me go through the right channels or stay out.

It is not I who put the information out there. It is companies who make a living selling your information. Every time you get any type of legal document recorded at the court house it is on the net, Every time you get your drivers lic. it is on the net, You have no privacy. If you get divorced and you have kids and in the divorce papers your kids name and social security are listed it is on the net.

If you get charged falsely for something and are booked and later it is found out you had nothing to do with it you are still on the net as a criminal. And if you go for a job, to buy a house, get credit you are doomed. It can cost in every way. And this information is gather by those serving time in prison.

The internet is the key to identity theft. The only people who benefit from the net are those who have nothing to loose.

There is way too much personnel information out there. There are things that other people do not need to know.

Years ago I was involved in a very dangerous sting operation with the government. I moved away because they knew who I was. Now my name and address is out there.

I know may people are making a living using the net. But for me I wish it could be shut down. I think it dose more harm than good.

The President dose not have that much power. It is the idiots in the house and senate. They are more concerned about who is sleeping with whom and women's reproductive rights to do anything productive. They almost let the government shut down over this.

We need to get men out of office and only people who are or have been productive citizens can vote. If you have been receiving government money most of your life you can not vote.

I was but due to the fact that mostly what I get are jokers I am just messing with the forums and polls. I joined here because I was hoping to meet a nice European guy as this site has more international people.

Thank goods there are more serious sits as I don't see this as a dating site just a place to goof off.

For me it is my 2 sisters. We are all so different that it is hard to believe we came from the same mom.

Than there are people that get everything they know from the TV. No independent thougts at all.

My son is not a big guy, but his wife is very large and so were most of the girls he has dated.

I ask him why he preferred large females. His answer "Why do I want to roll around on a bag of bones. He was 16 when I asked the question. That taught me to not ask certain questions.

As for me I want to loose some weight because I think I would feel better. And could buy clothes that would fit better. Can't be for the guys since most of them my age look like they are about to deliver a 25 pound baby any min., haven't seen their feet in 10-15 years.

I think it should be controlled altogether. Welfare/government hand outs is a bigger problem than global warming. Why work when you can get a pay raise every 9 months.

A guy walked into my office one day and he was so great looking I could not speak. When I did get my voice all I could say was "you are drop dead gorgeous." First time I ever saw a man blush.

I have lied about the month I was born in because some things are on a need to know basis. but never about how many years I have been around.

I am 60 and have the lines and wrinkles to prove it. If some old dude wants a young gal go for it. My late husband was 19 years older than me. What gets my goat is the old guy got the young gal. Has the kiddies and she kicks him to the curb. Than he wants the old stable gal to help raise his kids.



I would love to have some cute young stud, but I don't want his drama, so I will stay on the sidelines until I can find the funny, cute, in shape, full of life old dude.

Us old folks just have to get over the fact that after 60 we are off the search or just plain undesirable.

I was on a site and searched for guys between 55 & 65 out of about 100 I only found 6 guys that would consider a woman my age. Most wanted the 18-35. I guess they were all rich because they were for the most part guys I would not be caught dead with.

I have tried to be polite and say no thanks and sometimes give reasons, and even wish them luck in their search, but than I get "Thank I know this will work" or something to the effect. They DON'T GET IT. So most of the time I do not answer, Much easier and very to the point.


But it would be nice to have a book with not interested lines.

I think the OP has forgotten his own history. Every time Germany as had it's back against the wall it;s people have pulled them selves up brushed them selves off and went forward.

The OP the Beginning of the Fall of Germany. And I was looking forward to visiting there someday.

My grand mother came to the states around 1912 from Germany because her father knew which ever way the impending war went she would be safe in the states. Don't get me wrong I greatly admire the German people.

It is time for people to stay home and run their won country. You don't like the life you have there FIX IT.

The US if it keeps going the way it is will be in a civil war in the not too distance future. but you can bet we won't go running and crying to some other country. We will pick sides and start shooting.
