Human rights and humanitarian aid in conflictive areas might be an excuse for other real interests(E.g, Irak) International rights did not usually have got good results when intervening in a peaceful or militar way. It might cause subsecuent conflicts.(e.g, Middle east) what about Lybia´s case?

My philosophical view is that one nation should refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of another. So on this basis I don't believe he should be removed by a foreign power.
However, we - broadly speaking - are the reason for the existence of Gaddafi's power base. If I were to give a gun to a man who I know is a murderer and this man goes ahead and kills somebody with it, their blood is on my hands. So in this light I believe us to be morally obligated to work against Gaddafi. The fact that Libya is so close to Europe only adds to the argument.

Well if Gaddafi, as in the case of Saddam Hussien is in violation of UN resolutions and ceasefire conditions as well as murdering his own people and, like Iraq, action is authorized then by all means, take the authorized actions to accomplish what the UNSC has laid out.

Could you qualify this question with a couple of examples please as I'm not sure what you mean.

Let the people of Libya decide their own fate. Who is US to create a terror in Libya? Why is UN not stopping US from interfering into the affairs of other nations.
The old concept of any nation to withstand meddling/ interferring in its 'internal affairs' is limited only to those well armed and influence, such as the European nations, the Us, Canada, Russia, China and India while several of those can and do interfere in the so called internal affairs of other nations should they decide to. The concept of 'internal affairs has died and remains only for the powerful nations. Another wake-up call to the real New World Order, rapidly becoming a danger to all nations who wish to be truly sovereign.Sig Hi,y'all!

Because it wasn't the USA who decided... The security council did
Albertaghost: What ceasefire conditions is Israel in violation of and what documented murdering of their own people has occurred?
Yet again selective reading and listening... They are in breach of in excess of 35 un resolutions, taking land against international law, being a terrorist state etc etc etc

at the end thats what will happen i think, he will be removed by foreign forces, and my wish is that he will be captured and brought to justice too.

You started the selective reading BK. I said;
""Well if Gaddafi, as in the case of Saddam Hussien is in violation of UN resolutions and ceasefire conditions as well as murdering his own people and, like Iraq, action is authorized then by all means, take the authorized actions to accomplish what the UNSC has laid out.""
Why on earth you decided to concentrate on resolutions when the stark truth of the matter is ceasefire conditions, mass murder of hundreds of thousands of his own citizens and action authorized to take whatever measures deemed necessary to reign him in I can only surmise is because you have no argument.

cherrygc: They violated over 100 UN resolutions, but this thread is not about isreal
And how many ceasefire conditions have they broken and, how many of their own citizens have they mass murdered and how many resolutions have been issued authorizing any and all means necessary to force them to adhere?
Then again, this thread is not about Israel and my original question has been sidetracked by yourself and BK.

blarneykite: No, because he's got a brain and education...It's not all about making the rich, richer
Bush has the same education creds and, on top of that, he freed fifty million people and invaded two countries. Obama has four wars on the go and has invaded the same number.
cherrygc: At least when Obama comes to the Middle East people will keep their shoes on
Perhaps not as with all the other countries like Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Muscat, Oman, etc. being ever so conveniently forgotten about or mentioned...he may end up with enough shoes to open a shoe store. Most peoples are fed up with US hypocrisy.

To a great degree, I agree.
But what is the criteria though for a foreign power intervening or not? I mean.... if its about genocide, i.e. the Saddam Husseins of this world, Mugabe? Why is he always left alone to continue committing his atrocities?
