I want Santa to call me and make a date. Then I want him to pick me up and take me someplace nice (I haven"t been anywhere nice in a long time),in his stretch sliegh. Then I want to dance with him through the night, and hug and kiss, and snuggle next to him. Then he can help me into his stretch sleigh and take me back to his place. Where we enjoy a few glasses of wine, and he then looks at me with that twinkle in his eye, kisses me in THAT WAY of his, then of course he knows what I am thinking , then he takes my hand and leads me to that special place of his, and he knows what to expect, because...he is Santa. And he smiles really big, because he knows I am a very very good girl.
I have made myself sit back and look at this picture again. I am helping my mom to get the phone number to the store owners office. He has always liked her. She is going to try and call him tomorrow morning to tell him her story and see where he stands with this. Then I will know what I have to do. Thank you all for your support and info. I have pasted all that I have received. I am calming down to where I can think rationally and calmly. I will let everyone know what has happened, and if I need more advice, I will certainly ask. She is going to appeal by phone. I have already called them for her. Then there will be an appeal at District court. She does not tell her story right. She gets so confused. She was talking to a woman awhile ago and she didn't answer her right. I had to then call her back and talk to her myself. I got the answers that she was trying to get. This is going to be hard to do. The phone review will be hard because she doesn't know how to answer them. And this phone does not have a speaker on it, damnit.I told her that she has to tell them her story how she felt like they were trying to fire her and changing her hours so much like, 6am, to 1 pm, then 11 am to 5 pm, then 1 pm to 7 pm, daily. She was getting very tired and wore out from this. No damn wonder she was confused. Even if they fired her shouldn't she still be able get her benefits> I mean she has paid into them forever. Well, I have already tried to send it to the Howard thing. I am not sure if it was sent though. After I hit the send button it disappeared, and came back to the original box, empty. I hope it sent. Hi, honey. I feel that they were trying to find a way to get rid of her before, yes. It is a store that the groceries go on down to the end of the belt and they sack them themselves. She has been complained about by two different customers saying that she threw their groceries. She says, not. She says that they were not sacking, rather than watching her ring them up. So to move them on down she had to push them out of the way so they would continue to move. This manager has been on her butt for a long time. I have the name of one site, and now I want as many avenues as I can get to put this in their face. All she has is a small amount of 401k. and they are going to tax that to the tune of 20%. Leaving her with about 6000. oo to live off of, not to mention the state tax. Kat

What kind of thing is this "help me Howard"? I am willing to do however many hours I have to, to get this up and going. I am not sure how to go about starting this. Okay, here it is... My mom worked for a company called Buy For Less, for 17 years. Well I will try and make this as short as I can. She was at work about three weeks ago and she was ringing up a customer and she didn't see a 12 pack of coke under the basket. The woman was leaving the store when someone told mom that she missed the coke. Mom was busy ringing up another customer and she turned around and not thinking straight, she didn't say anything to catch the lady going out the door. She was sent home soon after that. She was fired the next day! She has filed an unemployment claim and was denied today!!! For negligent misconduct!! She is 71 years old and she gave them 17 years of her life! And this is the way they treat her!!? I'll be damned!! I want information on how to go about putting this out there on the net to get something done about this. I know that there are a lot of people that will see this as a very bad thing to do to someone that worked for a company this long, at that age, no less,for something as simple as this. They could have taken it out of her pay. I want to be able to cause them as much grief as I can to get them to lighten up on her and give her what she is owed. She payed for this unemployment insurance!! It is hers and they are denying her. I know that if enough people send mails and complain about this, it will make them very uncomfortable. And maybe they will back off.I have the resourses of millions, if I knew how to do it. My mom has had a very hard life to hoe, and is buying a home and has two years of car payments left. Jack took a long look at his speedometer before slowing down: 73 in a 55 zone. Fourth time in as many months. How could a guy get caught so often? When his car had slowed to 10 miles an hour, Jack pulled over, but only partially. Let the cop worry about the potential traffic hazard. Maybe some other car will tweak his backside with a mirror. The cop was stepping out of his car, the big pad in hand. Bob? Bob from Church? Jack sunk farther into his trench coat. This was worse than the coming ticket. A cop catching a guy from his own church. A guy who happened to be a little eager to get home after a long day at the office. A guy he was about to play golf with tomorrow Jumping out of the car, he approached a man he saw every Sunday, a man he'd never seen in uniform. "Hi, Bob. Fancy meeting you like this." "Hello, Jack." No smile. "Guess you caught me red-handed in a rush to see my wife and kids." "Yeah, I guess." Bob seemed uncertain. Good.
"I've seen some long days at the office lately. I'm afraid I bent the rules a bit -just this once." Jack toed at a pebble on the pavement. "Diane said something about roast beef and potatoes tonight. Know what I mean?" "I know what you mean. I also know that you have a reputation in our precinct ." Ouch. This was not going in the right direction. Time to change tactics. "What'd you clock me at?" "Seventy. Would you sit back in your car please?" "Now wait a minute here, Bob. I checked as soon as I saw you. I was barely nudging 65." The lie seemed to come easier with every ticket. "Please, Jack, in the car" Flustered, Jack hunched himself through the still-open door. Slamming it shut, he stared at the dashboard. He was in no rush to open the window. The minutes ticked by. Bob scribbled away on the pad. Why hadn't he asked for a driver's license? Whatever the reason, it would be a month of Sundays before Jack ever sat near this cop again. A tap on the door jerked his head to the left. There was Bob, a folded paper in hand Jack rolled down the window a mere two inches, just enough room for Bob to pass him the slip. "Thanks." Jack could not quite keep the sneer out of his voice. Bob returned to his police car without a word. Jack watched his retreat in the mirror. Jack unfolded the sheet of paper. How much was this one going to cost? Wait a minute. What was this? Some kind of joke? Certainly not a ticket. Jack began to read: "Dear Jack, Once upon a time I had a daughter. She was six when killed by a car. You guessed it- a speeding driver. A fine and three months in jail, and the man was free. Free to hug his daughters, all three of them. I only had one, and I'm going to have to wait until Heaven before I can ever hug her again. A thousand times I've tried to forgive that man. A thousand times I thought I had. Maybe I did, but I need to do it again. Even now. Pray for me. And be careful, Jack, my son is all I have left."

Jack turned around in time to see Bob's car pull away and head down the road. Jack watched until it disappeared. A full 15 minutes later, he too, pulled away and drove slowly home, praying for forgiveness and hugging a surprised wife and kids when he arrived.
