Yeah, but, right now; my mind is only on him being found before he might freeze to death. If my child had run away in this weather I would be turning heaven and earth to find him, last night. This is a wet and freezing cold. It will kill anyone outside in it. I pray he is inside. I'm so worried. Kat
We have a missing boy here in Oklahoma. He is 10 years old. He has apparently run away from home! 10 years old! Can you imagine? He apparently ran away last night around ten oclock p.m.. His mom didn't report it because he has done this before. 10 years old!! I can't tell you what I would do to this mother! Anyway he was spotted by n office this afternoon around four oclock and he called to him and the boy ran away. Folks, it is 17 degrees here. I am so scared for this child. He is somewhere out there. His name is Timothy Goins. Please join me in prayers that he will be found safe and not harmed.

I also believe that people have a tendancy to take the words of the Bible and turn them into what they want them to be so as to feel better about what they are doing. Or to make excuses to get away with behaviors so written in the Bible. I used to turn it around to make me feel better. Now I know better. It is what it is. Kat

It was 68 here yeasterday. Today it was freezing rain and then sleet on top of that. It is horrible here. Right now it is 18. No letting up in site yet. Supposed to be having a bigger one coming tomorrow, then another one Sunday. Right now we have 2 inches of sleet. Little round white balls that hurt like heck when they hit you. Brrrrrr. Kat
Fred mistakenly gets on a bus full of war veterans, but upon discovering it is going his way, decides to stay on for the ride.
He sits down next to a guy that jerks his head to the left every few seconds, over and over. This really starts to get on Fred's nerves so he asks him, "What the heck is wrong with you?"
The reply is, "l got this in the war."
Fred finds this pretty annoying so he switches seats.
The next guy he sits by has uncontrollable spastic twitches in his right leg, causing him to kick the seat in front of him, and even kicks Fred a few times.
So Fred asks him, "What the heck is wrong with you?"
Again the answer is, "l got this in the war."
Fred moves.
The next guy poor Fred sits by begins erratically flailing his left hand. Fred says, "Let me guess, you got that in the war."
His reply was, "No, l got it out of my nose. I can't get it off of my hand."
Well, according to the Bible; we are to buy what we need and not be glutenous. We are not to be selfish and we should pay all our debts. Even our taxes. I don't believe that all set out to buy all they can to file bankruptcy, but many do and don't care. In my opinion this is, in some cases akin to thievery. What I mean is; we buy beyond our means and then we do not pay and the loss is felt all the way to the bottom of the chain. From the worker, to the business owner to the delivery person, to the distributor and so forth. The only person that gets away scott free, is the person filing bankruptcy. I mean after ten years. I could go and have all sorts of plastic, but choose not too. Because I refuse to be trapped in that. I would spend what I didn't have. The way I see it. If can't afford to pay for it, then I don't need it. Now, I am not bashing those that fall onto hard times by loss of a job and cannot get back up. But, in my business I see all kinds of people that are living beyond their means and the way out is to file. Even for high rolling builders. Gets them out of paying the contractors that work so hard for them. The new homeowners. They buy an expensive house and then furniture then cars and who knows what else. Next time we see, they are filing bankruptcy. Kat

Sorry, I got hijacked to my siosters house for spaghetti, then had to watch that man on tv. Then I hurried home to read the threads. This was going to be exciting. I love this idea. And OMG!!! This is something I think about myself. There is too much wealth. You brought up the Bible; so it says that wealth brings about no conscience and unrealistic self worth. This makes the devil very happy. Because he does his best work through wealth. Kat
