Hey I know Irish women. And in particular, some, not all, but some girls on Cs. They are paranoid. Not sure what kind of opener they expect but it doesn;t matter. At this stage i have tried every opening line you can think of. I rarely get a reply.
haven;t worked out the new quoting system yet - but as for shame... well perhaps irish women are different. us women seem to be a lot more active on the site than irish birds. there's other things to be said about irish women.... maybe not best for a forum. i'd be crucified.
well blokes are different - but i had a bit of an iusse with one of my best friends. he was basically a selfish c**t and a lot of the guys used to say this about him behind his back (well, it was true - selfish in every way - material, emotional). So one day I turned round to him and said "Man, do you know that you're a selfish f**ker?". We went on to have a good chat about how he compartmentalises different area's of his life (friends, etc), how he's less giving than the rest of us, etc. He began to change pretty soon afterwards and is now probably one of the more generous of us. When it comes to best friends, just be straight up. That's what makes it such a true and right friendship.
Diplomacy, Diplomacy and more Diplomacy. That's the only thing that's going to work in the long run. The more that the middle-east is attacked, the more hated the west becomes. Personally I think that Bush is a meglomaniac. The guy is mental, the press in the US are very influential and people are persuaded into a state of fear that "those people over there (and by the way, the majority of people who think this are uneducated people who couldn't point any axis of evil countries out on a map)" will attack the west.
And the "free world" does not know what Iran will do with Nukes if, let me repeat, IF, that is what their goal is. The free world does not consist of the US and only the US. The vast majority of the other 5.7 billion people in the world do not know. Perhaps US intelligence has information that Iran is planning some knd of nuclear attack. Seems a bit pointless to me. The US and Russia have unimaginable arsenels of Nukes (ok, not unimaginable, but significant), so Iran launching a Nuke would be completely ridiculous since it would spell the end of civilisation as we know it, including their own. Let us also remember that the US also had intelligence that Iraq had WMD's and lo and behold, the intelligence was wrong.
