I wasn't aware that it was possible to know "most" Americans and therefore formulate such a knowledgable and informed opinion of the general state of naivety of an entire country'e population...truly amazing! Oh, by the way, the United States is a Republic not a Democracy. If it were a Democracy Al Gore would have been president based on the popular vote...then again most of us are too naive to realize that.
Just a crazy thought here, but if you don't care for the subject (not necessarily you per se Leo) don't read the thread and don't post a response. It seems to me that a lot of people who complain about certain types of threads spend an awful lot of their time posting in them!
Love is perhaps the most difficult thing in the world to define but to me it means being able to see the good in someone and have empathy even when that someone is at their worst...that is obviously a more humanistic love. A romantic love (again to me) is knowing that you cannot breathe without her. Knowing that I was put on this earth to protect her and be there for her no matter what...to put her needs ahead of mine because that is what makes me feel better than anything else.
Then again it might just be that feeling I get when I crack open an ice cold beer on a really hot summer day...either way isn't love grand?
100% bona fide redblooded American male me and totally real...I am who I am like it or leave it and if someone steals it then oh well...not worried about that
Denver there is a really good chance that alot of the profiles of "women" you are attempting to contact are actually fakes churned out by a boiler room somewhere. Quite often using "stolen" pics that generate alot of response so they don't always reply to everyone. I would worry about some of the ones who do reply more than the ones who don't. There are also plenty of real women here and not all will reply to everyone that contacts them. Keep in mind there are plenty of male profiles here that are total BS as well.
Don't worry too much about getting bashed...some people really seem to enjoy jumping all over new peeps here if they don't like the cut of their thread...don't sweat it
Hello CS friends. I ask that you please paste this link into your browser and pray for these two little girls and their families. I don't know the families personally and my only relation to them is that they are from a small town adjacent to where I live. I know that it is an extreme longshot that anyone on here may have seen them or may somehow know something but as a parent I feel like I have to do SOMETHING. I know that if it were my children I would want as many eyes and ears on this as possible.
Yet somehow the "Evil West" with all of it's technology and ability to make it rain thus depriving the middle east of much needed precipitation has failed to make it rain in the central United States where I live. A region that produces nearly a quarter of the worlds food supply is allowed to have it's crops wither and die despite the fact that we could "just force it to rain"??? Seems highly unlikely.
