Sound like pretty much the same sort, yes. We have a hard time forgetting that legacy of stupid decisons and backpeddaling. Hard to also forget the National Gun Registry fiasco and can thank our government for wasting billions more of the tax payers money.
Well, men stare at butts and breasts, so what would women stare at? I don't know about others, but if I'm going to stare at a guys anatomy, the obvious would be his crotch, which is the equivalent for women, of womans breasts to the men, no?
Mine kicked in about an hour ago, lol. I mean really now...would any woman tolerate that? Be honest FCOL. Would any guy tolerate thier woman checking out a another guys crotch when they are out together?
Thanks...they really don't have much of a choice, lol. But you're right, I have been lucky.
Hey lightening. Hope your day was good!
Every 3 months for blood work taboon? They have to keep a close eye on it huh. My doc. wants me to go for some too. Not on a regular basis, jsut to check the leves out. Geeez...I cringed when I read the bonescan part girl. God knows where you get the will to get through that.....amazing. So good that you have your son adn daughter to keep you warm and fuzzy inside and get through all that.
Thanks for that. Wasn't sure if you were back in there posting. I noted you saying earlier you were triaging and doing other things, lol.
Back in the early '90's, our former Prime Minister ordered new helicopters. They still never came to be by the time the next P.M came into office. By the next PM, Chretien, came into office, he vowed to dump the deal because he viewed the helicopters as over the top of what Canada really needed in a helicopter.
When Chretien came into office, he dumped the contrat and it cost Canadian tazpayers $500 million in penalities. The military had to continue using old and dangerous ones as each PM took a kick at the can, spent more money to buy new helicopters, while paying the penalties for the ones were didn't acutally buy and we still got no helicopters.
Now, it's been said that our current PM has put in a request to buy the military new helicopters, again! Needless to say the government and the taxpayer's are taking one step back and shaking their heads.
You are absolutley correct in saying that. Sept 11th was far past their wildest dreams. Sept 11th and the aftermath is draining countries of billions of dollars, on top of and aside from military budgets. How better to hurt a country, than to near or totally bankrupt them and leave them licking their financial wounds. Once a country is that finanicaly drained, they are in no postion to ever defend themselves, should the need ever arise. One chain reaction after another.
I had always wondered if we ever graduate. Life always seems to throw a curve ball at you, right outta left field, just when you thought the coast was clear. If we never really graduate from the SOHK's, we should at least get the credits.
It appears, from some news yesterday night, our Prime Minister has just commited to increase the military budget and again go after helicopters we had bought and paid millions of dollars for, but never got, and increase our presence overseas.
I saw that on the CNN last night also. I had the volume turned down, so I didn't here the commentary that went with the footage. There were adults in the video. Were they not the parents? The kids knew how to hold it and were inhaling....., you're right. I thought at first they were smoking little cigars, was shocked at the headline that it was marijuana!
LOL, Nothing wrong with being under 5'5, but nothing wrong with having the legs to take you over 5'5 either. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with a girl having to stand on a chair, on her tip toes to kiss her tall guy.
One would think that an expanded list of banned nuclear material and technology would be wise, regardless if they import/export, in any country that has nuclear facilities.
They would consider freezing more assets but a ban on students studying nuclear technology abroad would be dropped? I can understand why arms embargo would be opposed.
Ditto and right back at you... BTW, if you ever get that beer tasting job, you better invite us for the free tour of the brewery. And yes, that includes free samples.
Hey girl! Was nice bumping into you last night in the convo. Got bumped three times on my end, LOL.
Speaking of spring, the snow is all mushy and melting over here, is beautiful out! Car got stuck in driveway and had to play stop'n'go to get unstuck. But it's BEAUTIFUL out. Did I say it's beautiful out Sure makes the hard days a bit easier to handle, knowing winter is going.
As long as they have lots of cold beer. I hear it's going to be a blast. Airfare is pretty pricy though. Driving is out of the question.....I think it's over 24 hrs on the other side of the country. Oh well, I hope to at least get to see the pic's and live video, LOL.
Canada is not a yankee lap-dog. Cheap shot. If that were the case, we could say the same for every other country that is with him and even sleeping in his bed. Canada did not knee jerk and jump into the war as readily as one would believe. Despite being taken into a war no one wants, Canada still maintains it's Peace Keeping status and abilities and is still the priority.
RE: canadain war policy
Sound like pretty much the same sort, yes. We have a hard time forgetting that legacy of stupid decisons and backpeddaling.
