hamiltonsCoach Travel, have told me they have gone into Administration, and no monies will be refunded to anyone as they are bamkrupt. I only paid the money on 06 September and last weekend was told they have gone bust. Surely they must have known when they accepted my payment, that there was no holiday to look forward to. It was for 5 days to Bournemouth UK, and cost £299.00. I am a pensioner aged 74 and to loose that sort of money is hard to get again for another holiday. However, I have no choice, as the owner does not want to know. I am gutted, by not having the holiday break, and now no money to come back. This is so unfair, that a local firm I trusted could do this to me and others. I don't feel I can trust anyone anymore. Life is so hard these days without loosing your money, you have worked for, then someone can just come along and take it with no sympathy. I have no one to turn to, Just sad. They were not bonded by ABTA, as there were no flights, and they did not take credit or debit card, so I paid by Bank Transfer. Insurance only covers Medical, and the bank would not cover the transfer, as it was not a card. A very poor experience. thank you for listening. Regards, and Best Wishes. Ellelyn xxx
Hi, hope 2015 finds you what you really really want, I am 71 very young at heart and also live in Cornwall. Good luck. PM me if interested, Have a good day. xxxxx
When I was 36 a long time ago, I had a passionate affair with a white South African boy of 19 years of age, and it was forbidden in those days, but it worked for us, only he had to return to his home, but I don't regret it at all. Still prefer younger men but not age 20 sorry. xx Goodluck! OP
Hi Brenda, I thought it seemed an old post, however, if you are still looking, I live in Cornwall, England, and seldom go to the City, but was there this week to meet my sister from Canada, we met at Waterloo, and had a good time, if you would like a friend in Cornwall, not English or Irish? then please private message me and we can have a chat, I am retired, and very easy going and travel a lot. Hope to hear from you, take care, Warm Regards, Lynn xxx P>S. I do not smoke! x
I would and have dated up to 15 years younger, but never older than me, now I am older it would have to be up to 10 years younger but not older as I am very young for my age and won't like an older person. At present I am chatting to someone age 46, my son is 47, so I don't think it will go further than friends. x
This site is full of scammers, all my contacts here turned out to be scams, they use good looking photos, so you are attracted, then bombard you with words of love until you get hooked then in for the scam. sorry don't have much faith in finding a real date here? good luck to the few who find a good one. x
I have two grandsons ages 22 and 19 and one great grand daughter who is 2, I love them all as if they are my own kids, I only have one son, but I feel truly blessed, Being a grandparent is Fun, and it keeps you young. xx
Hi, Ladies do get lots of unwanted mail, and when you reply with thanks and no thanks, you get back abusive mail, so the easy option is not to reply, not necessarily to block someone unknown, but at the same time not to be messaged again and again by an unwanted admirer, This may sound harsh but it is a fact of Internet Dating, sorry, someone will come along soon, I hope for you OP. don't give up.xxx
I would never do that to anyone older or younger, I am an older woman and do appreciate the stamina of a younger man, but would never put him down in any way, don't agree with you on this. Sorry! x
thank you sweetheart, you have made my day, I should sleep well tonight. Perhaps we may chat again soon. It is 2227 here in Uk so bedtime, goodnight, sweet dreams. x :_flower:
I was 70 last month, so getting on now. still feel as if I was 40 but sadly I am not. I do get offers from very young boys, but I say No thanks, as I have a son of 46. and I am being messaged by guys of 26. I have been a widow now for 28 years, and it gets more lonely as you get older. But I try to stay cheerful, and hopeful. and live a peaceful life. Take care! x
You are young and beautiful, and someone will come along for you again soon, for me. Time is not so much on my side, so I just take one day at a time, and think Que sera, sera, Good luck! Catsy. Be Happy! x
Maybe, but I have doubts, people write for a while, then they seem to move on, and the search starts all over again. It is really a long shot, but you have to have a dream for the dream to come true.
thanks for the good advice, I will be careful in future, as I am getting this type of message all the time, asking me for skype, yahoo, and MSN. then the message stops. Scam warning!
So sorry, but Yes, it will heal, mine was broken by being dumped 17 years ago, I even had heart surgery since then, but thank God, it has healed, and I am a better person for going through that, I don't trust easily now, but happier without him now. someone nicer will come along for you. Just be positive, and be happy, and of course try to move on. Good luck! x
